  1. You have some pretty lofty goals my friend.
  2. I found the below info here Who can operate OHVs on public lands or roads? No one under eight years of age may operate an OHV on public roads, trails, or lands. Drivers from eight to 15 years of age must possess an OHV education certificate issued by the Utah Division of Parks and Recreation. Drivers 16 years of age and older must possess a valid driver's license or an OHV education certificate. Education certificates will be issued to anyone eight years old and older who completes the Utah Division of Parks and Recreation OHV education course or passes an OHV knowledge and skills test. Contact the division for education information.
  3. We like going ourselves. We get a cheap RV spot and PARTY all weekend. I myself don't care if they go in circles, just go straight, or go in twists and turns. I am a racing purist. My motto has always been: "If it has a throttle, I'm grabbin' a beer and watching!" Say what you want. If you truly love the spirit of competition with motorsports then you'd watch lawn mower racing if that's all there was. I know I would. Personally I find drag racing the most boring out of all racing, but I'll still watch it just for the raw HP. At least in NASCAR they bump and bang on each other and they can get away with it!! Plus the crowds are pretty friendly. We keep going back because of the people from across the country that we party with every year. ...and we have met a bunch.
  4. I'm doing the 7 day Mexican Riveria cruise...so I'll be in tourist central. I assume you bought bombay because it's sooooo much cheaper down there? Algodones...is that near the southern portion of Glamis dunes past buttercup and the border?

That's Capitol...I worked for them for 8 months then was hired at another joint. I had a County job offer on the same day....guess which one I took. A good screw gun and saw are good, but a compressor and nail guns are a must for cabinets. You'll need to shoot 1 1/2", I think 16 gauge, and 1/2" staples with a 1/4" crown. I use a Paslode finish nailer and a cheap craftsman small brad nailer in place of the stapler. When I started there they liked the fact that I never installed cabinets, but was an experienced carpenter. To the guy running the install dept, Gary, he said it was an opportunity to teach someone how they wanted cabinets installed versus how most people think they should be. Training was easier than re-training. You might want to give them a shot. I also used to know a guy at another shop in town.... I can look up his number and see if he's still in business for ya. Just say the word.

Do you have all the tools to install cabinets? I used to do that and it seemed like they were always hiring at Capitol Cabinets.....
  7. I'm heading to Mexico next week....I was planning on buying some 100% blue agave tequila. Any recommendations for this gringo?
  8. Let me try and translate.... = WTF, you're not = drinking = with DDR peeps at TT. You suck = effer!!! At least that's the way I saw it..... j/k I don't know how you guys did it before, but I can understand why you can't make it all the time. Same reasons here.
  9. Go for the upgrade. Sounds like you have zero luck with the stock tranny.
  10. ....and that's why Amargosa doesn't get too crowded. But then again all of this really has nothing to do with caution tape.
  11. There was a couple of quads set up for street at ATV cycle sports on Craig. They were lowered and had the street tires. They also looked pretty worn out.
  12. For directions click here. Then scroll down and look for "Meadows"...... There is also a map somewhere around here....
  13. Me too. Plenty of large dunes like Dumont with a lot less a$$holes!! They'll be plenty of opportunities next season.....and you're more than welcome to kick it with our group!! I'll let you know during the season when we head out.
  14. That's the weekend that the restroom was surrounded. When I go on Prez's weekend I already know what it's going to be like. I go on that weekend to see the "show". If I wanted uncrowded duning then I'd hit Amargosa on bigger weekends. At one time I wanted to go to Oceano, but from what I've heard and pics I've seen....I'll probably never go. I'd much rather hit up Coos bay or something like that.
  15. I'm sure you'll have your chance on President's day.

I'll keep my eyes open for ya. I used to be in the same business and still have a lot of friends in the trade. Good luck.
  17. Yeah our race team at arrived at Tonapah and said there was a bunch of people stuck in the silt just before Tonapah. They would have stopped to help, but they are only running 2wd and didn't want to get stuck themselves. They actually had to stop every so often to clean their lenses and wipe the silt off of the hood so they could continue. One guy waiting for his team at Tonapah said they were stuck for over 3 hours!!!
  18. I don't know about that. The guys in the truck were pretty worn out from all of the silt. You could see it on their faces when they stopped at the pits in Tonapah. They said there was at least a 10 mile stretch just before Tonapah of nothing but silt.
  19. We flew into Idaho Falls where some good friends of ours moved to. Instead of sitting at their place all weekend we decided to make a road trip out of it instead.
