They did me a favor by ignoring me when we were shopping for our hauler. I ended up at Johnny Walkers with a Ragen' and am extremely happy with both the trailer and the service. On another note: I do have a couple of friends with a WW and I haven't heard them complain about the quality of the trailer at all.

I got a good one at the lake. This one was easily 15+ years ago in our '87 Toyota pickup....2wd. We decided to park on a soft ledge....the kind you see a lot of from the lake level dropping. Well my truck got stuck upon arrival and I tried to dig out off and on all day with no luck. My buddy pulled his truck, same make and model, down to try and pull me out and got stuck himself. Like his truck was any different...... Anyways, this guy in a big Dodge Ram came down to pull us both out. During his attempt his truck shifted 5+ feet sideways and down towards the lake!! Panic set in and he unhooked and said eff it!! Well this really strange fellow came by with a little Ford Ranger and pulled us all out. After getting out I shared a beer with him and got the lesson of "It's all in the tires!" That's just one of many times getting stuck. I don't get stuck as often anymore, but I'm sure I haven't seen my last time!

I have more fun there than Dumont in my rail. Maybe it's because I've been there more than Dumont and there seems to be way less people. The only thing that sucks at Amargosa is getting your trailer in and the whoops getting to the dunes from the campgrounds. Some of the access roads aren't the best.

I have been going every year also and I don't remember last March being that hot. Last weekends Fontana race was hotter than it's ever been for a Vegas race.

The dunes are as large as Dumont....there's just not as many. There are zero facilities and that keeps the traffic down a little. However, it seems to be getting more popular these days.

I wonder if they see camps as different from the actual dunes? Did you see any on the dunes that young?
