You hear the same thing over at GD.com...some of them go out to the events just to push the "pack it in, pack it out" concept. The sad part is they spend their spare time doing that and not enjoying the dunes. It's a disposable generation and some just don't get it!!

I thought I saw some closer to Pahrump also. I think they were beige and right next to the road.

I said it wasn't much. Dang, every dollar counts in my camp. You only need 34.5 more people to donate the same. Should be easy with over 900 members, or are they not as generous as me?

I bought 2 hats....and gave you $40. You were looking for change and I said "Just put it toward tonights event." It's wasn't much.

Wait a minute. The change from the hats I bought were supposed to go to the event....even though it wasn't much. :mc_smiley:

I had a good time myself....despite not feeling 100%. The things I learned: 1) My son doesn't slow the fun down enough to re-torque new rims and tires. (I think he re-torqued them 50 times after that...thanks Dave) 2) I don't stop yelling at him even though he agrees with me!! :mc_smiley: (hey dad's gotta do what dad's gotta do...gotta let me get the a$$ chewing out of the way and don't try to stop me by agreeing) 3) DDR doesn't know how to make a circle? (the first guy there pick's the spot.....I showered and was willing to share my Vodka?) 4) My truck does go on the small dunes ok....but there's no way I was pulling Nick out without airing down. 5) My truck backs the trailer in the sand better than going forward. 6) My son can catch the truck and jump in at the same time!! 7) The AC doesn't work so well at 3pm at Dumont......neither does the fridge. 8) Blondie....walks off in the middle of a conversation. (more than once)

I have one.....never used it. But then again this is my first trailer and the first summer....

I'm a computer/database programmer....and I'm the lowest on the pole around here as far as seniority goes (even with 11 years in), but I am fairly good at what I do. Being low on the pole is good if you're a chick!!

Better get in soon....they are slowly taking those bennies away for the newer employees. Joe and I have a good deal going.....

A little hijack...but I get 3 weeks vaca and 2 weeks sick...as well as no Social Security (we have our own retirement system that the employer pays and a defferred comp plan if you want). I also get a longevity check every year, which gets larger every year...and I get 75% of my wages based on the top 3 earned years when I retire after 30 years. It's hard for me to go anywhere else with bennies like that.

I have been hibernating at work to build up my time. Luckily gobmint workers have good bennies!!

Then I wouldn't have had a biopsy and my mom would still be around..... What if there were no surprises in life?

Then I'd definetly drink a lot more!!! What if there weren't any internal combustion engines?
