  2. is vegas gourmet popcorn still coming out?....we bought from them last season, the "mix" one sounds strange but tastes friggin goood....so was the pizza one. I will be grabbin some again for sure.
  3. we use these showers every time we are at the races (april and oct.) here in vegas. I can vouche for these guys, you can crank the heat up as high as you can stand it, and the water pressure will take the toughest layer of "dune grime" off, noo problem. We actually joke about it when we are loading up to take the hauler to the track, "dont forget the shower fund".
  4. So your the one that got 'dibs' on the couch huh!....what a jerk!! there is really no reason to brag! you could just apologize ya know!
  5. AL!...damn i wont be there!....can you run a full rack by LVMS for me though that would be splendid, i tell ya what i will give ya....twentyyyy TWO dollars even!!!!.....lol, sorry i am gonna miss it!
  6. i ran this past the wife resembling lady the other day, and i am pretty sure this is on the agenda....especially since we are not going out on halloween, i will be gettin that inch for sure , and i will need a fix.
  7. i forgot about the dinosaur house!....thats the only house i have ever seen that decorates for valentines day....not just a few decorations! its like comparable to christmas!
  8. ummm.....it isn't licensed, nor is it an automobile...its a tractor....lol. I am just sayin that there are a zillion codes on the books and tons of them are redundant, of just plain stupid, for example if i build a dental office, all the counters in the back office have to be hadicap accesible, sounds more than resonable right? thing is, there is also a code that states that it is illegal to hire a hadicap person to work back office, due to the fact that they are incapable of lifting a person up incase they pass out. Anyway, i am just sayin the right hand doesnt have any idea what the left hand is doin sometimes. Anyhow i could care less about the tractor, its not in my yard. the way i see it is that if their yard is a mess then mine looks that much better. Its kinda like when you see a group of girls together at a bar or club, they always invite a "less than supermodel" friend along, to bring up the average of the rest of the group. sorry to thread jack, back to the crazy house!
  9. on the first link, i had to laugh about the commercial vehicle one, the house across the street from me has had a caterpillar frontloader in front of the house for about 3 months with a big for sale sign on it, outside the property fence, on the dirt which would have to basically be considered the sidewalk. motorcycle cops are on my street daily, nailin speeders (since this is the only section of bermuda thats 35 instead of 45) and the have even parked behind it, or next to it, so they can hide from the cars. yet its still there and has never even been "orange stickered" lol. its just goes to show ya, lots of codes are just created to give "some" of the people, "all" of the power, "some" of the time, and that sometime is usually whenever it suits them best. typical schoolyard bully game, make an example out of one kid, so the others fall in line.
  10. german DDR museum no idea what the museum has to dune with having fun on some big ol piles of sand, but the picture in the middle of the linked page has two words that i can read...but.... the two words are ... die ddr....and i am not sure about you guys, but that just sounds downright unfriendly to me! p.s. be sure and check out the audio links to the right of the page, they have some of the best music germany has to offer!
  11. i live down windmill from this house, and see it daily, i get a kick out of it, always lookin to see what he did now. he has mirror and stuff on the chimney, its pretty funny. the really strange thing is that while this guy is gettin harrased, and his stuff is gettin jacked by the county, the crazy collector guy over on sandhill is all over the travel channel, and tlc, with his house full of stuff, rollercoaster parts and astronauts and all that crazy stuff, and he has waaaaayyyy more weird junk around his house. its typical vegas, never what you know, its always who you know, and someone that doesnt like his house, knows someone that will help them do something about it. the guy is strange i wont doubt that, but if they came to my house and tried to take my unregistered vehicle, there would be some serious disruptions in the day to day life of the "code enforcers" I hope the guy gets his stuff back, its BS that they can decide what they think he should be allowed to have. if that is the case though, and other people are allowed to decide what strangers do, then i am gonna start tommorow, yup, every boy that is walking aroung sagging black "skinny jeans" is gonna have to change imediatley, and every "smart" car i see trying to get on the freeway.....i think i am just gonna go ahead and impose a smart car VS big dumb truck durability test.
  12. that section of whoops off to the right was kickin people around pretty good, from dirt bikes to buggies. I had just got to the bottom of the hill and was turning around when he started to head up, and everything was looking good, and as I took my helmet off, I looked up the hill again and the bike went kartwheeling up the hill, then back down the hill a rotation, I thought that the whoops got him, he was right in the "not so sweet' spot where alot of people kept gettin a bad rhythm as they were climbing and would have to back down off the throttle a bit, didnt know the bike turned on him, but that would explain the kartwheel i suppose, it was a rough one for sure, but he got right up at first and walked around to the left of the bike and then two rails were there right away and then another quad just after them. I am glad to hear he is doing ok, and I wish him a speedy recovery on the aches and pains! it was a pretty nasty spill for sure.

  18. raiders fan since birth! (born in oakland) , but i dont follow to closely these days. it is at time painful to be a raiders fan! i have to agree but i still have hopes and dreams of a win or two here and there!
  19. wellll i was always one to stray......ordered my first dlsr today! i went a different direction, my parents have a olympus e-30 and i have played with it a few times, and i though it took real nice pics so when i was lookin i kept drifting back that way so i was reading reviews and watching demos and blah blah and more blah....and i finally went ahead and ordered the olympus E-620, it seems to have everything the other cameras in that class (canon t1i and nikon d5000) have minus the live video. i thought about it and didnt really see spending the extra for the video feature, i really wanted it for still photos and if i need a quick video i will just use my pocket camera. here is a link to it olympus E-620 let me know what you think about it for a first dslr! BTW i got it with the standard lense, 14-42mm, and the 40-150mm lense ...for 719.00
  20. i usually get water, fuel, and even sometimes wait on the ice until i am in pahrump...no sense in draggin extra weight up the hill. Costco or sams club is good if you have extra room around the house to store stuff, the bulk size of things usually is good for a couple trips. not all things of course but things that can last, canned stuff, paper good, freezer items, things like that. buy the larger cases of stuff and just spilt them up, and take them on a couple trips. this one may sound lame, but i have noticed that the exchange size propane bottle (i have a few for the BBQ, not everyone needs that size) the price varries quite a bit sometimes around town. the last time i exchanged them i paid like 23 bucks or so, and yesterday i was driving through the walmart parking lot on serene and they were 16.99. exchange the empties when you see them cheap and then your ready when the next trip. If you stock up on certain things during your daily travels it saves you from having to do all the last minute running around too. Plus there is always the old stand-by, spare change jar, anytime you have some change, or some singles at the end of the day, throw them in a jar, its one of those things that seems petty at the time, but its bizarre how quik you can accumulate a hundred or so bucks. it doesnt cover the whole trip but it for sure helps! THE......YES! THE!!....best way to save money!............. buy a :atc: .......................i think i have put about 8 dollars in gas in that thing....
  21. great folks , great food , fast bikes , 70 degrees in august! .....does it get any better?!
  22. Al!!! excellent as always!! thanks a bunch for takin the time to come out!!!
  23. i no nothing about onans, but it alomst sounds like it vapor locking. runs fine for awhile then you increase the draw and it fails? maybe the increased draw is heating it up and there is a fuel line cookin a bit. just a stab in the dark. my generac has the square (ford courier) style pump, and they are common for just dropping volume, they always look fiine when you test them it seems, it comes and goes. i chased that problem for awhile before i figured it out on an old truck i had. dont know if they are the same on an onan , just throwing it out there.
