  6. Well the sand is hot and vegas is hot, and we have a coral trip in the near future already planned, So for our anniversary the wife (ninjagreengirl) bought me tower suite tickets to the Fram/Autolight nationals in Sonoma Ca. (its NHRA drag racing for those that arent familiar). We decided to make a long weekend out of it and took off on wed. night got to the folks house about 3:30 in the morning, and crashed out for the rest of the night/morning. Hung out with the folks on thursday and friday morning then headed to the track. We got to the track on friday night for the late round of qualifying and then hung out with some friends of ours until 11 or 12 that night at the track, some local wine makers were there in the hospitality area, and they of course brought some samples....bottle size of course! lol. We left and went to the hotel and checked in, and got ready to do it again on saturday. Hit the track saturday morning and went to check in to our tower, got all checked in, and now i think every race is gonna cost me three times as much as before, the suites rocked, food, drink, A/C, nice seating, drivers and owners hangin out, and all right on the start line! it was a blast! wife and i entered a little reaction time battle that Steve Johnson (pro stock motorcycle rider) had set up in the suite.....long story short....the wife won the whole thing and won a pair of simpson shoes, and we took a tour of Steves trailer set-up and hospitality area, it was pretty cool. All in all it was a great weekend can twait til october for the vegas race! here are some pics from the weekend, bizarrely there seems to be some sort of "rogue" sticker that kept appearing in the strangest places! lol Antron Brown, Matco tools dragster (won the event ) Cory "Mac" , Fram dragster hmmm....Jim dunn's nitro funny car, sponsored by .....DDR? wife after she won the reaction time challenge, with Steve Johnson "borrowed" the UST golf cart for a minute to run to the truck Apparently DDR also sponsors pro stock motorcycles too! this picture is for reference, according to my phone this was the place to eat, its called Old Chicago, its a pizza place in old town Petaluma Very cool place, cool atmosphere, if your ever in the area give it a try!

  11. nice pics pete! i forgot my tri-pod so i got the wavy firework shots, but still had a great time, also did the boulder city thing, we posted up on the golf course and watched from there. we spent the weekend at the lake so, it was a quik trip into town then back out to the water. the wind on saturday was a little much to take the boat out, so we hung out in the slip and had a great day. my 2 year old decided she was gangster enough to go down the slide into the lake (the drop from the slide to the water is about 3 times her height) so i was proud papa. haha <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value=" name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
  12. :mischevious: looks like it almost official.....probably heading back the weekend after the night drags! i think its the 14th. made some plans with some others this weekend at the lake.
  13. meadow was very empty! on saturday afternoon i counted 11 trailers/haulers, thats including the day trip trailers and, the 4 haulers in our group! it was a ghost town, i think the friday forcast may have helped keep a few people away.
  14. hmm i feel a good halloween costume coming on here....blue shirt, tan pants, the hair the beard, all pretty easy. "HI...Billy Mays here for the halloween mighty bag!"..."do you have a rediculous mount of candy that you cant get rid of fast enough?" "then you should try the all new halloween mighty bag!" "the bag you just cant fill!" the halloween mighty bag holds pounds and pounds of halloween candy, enough candy to send a small country in diabetic coma!" "the halloween mighty bag is by far the best candy carrying device on the market today!" "made from high density polybuytlstyrenevinylbicarbonite, the mighty bag can withstand the stress and abuse that can come with begging for food door-to-door!" "dont miss your opprotunity to own the halloween mighty bag today!" :porn:
  15. maybe you can figure out a way to keep the water IN the bike instead of ON it! :porn: :stir: we should try and get a group together and "plan" a trip, i know julie and i would be down to go for sure.
  16. it was the shizzzzzz.....its very cool up there, had a great time! already thinking about when to go back! had some rain on friday, but it thinned out and friday night was awesome, and saturday was even better.
  17. i went out in the garage after that last post, and made a quik example, basically if you do it right, you can make your own rear view mirror on your beer can (or root bear) in this case! anyway simple stuff, this was like 30 seconds to buff the print off the can and about 20 seconds of polish. if you parts have been polished before, its even easier. good luck
  18. metal polishing is pretty easy, heat is your friend in most cases, the harder the metal the more heat you ill need to generate to smooth it. basically aluminum is easy, sand the gouges out, the buff it with a cutting rouge (red bar usually) , then fine detail it with a polish (green bar). think the exact opposite as polishing paint, paint is a lower speed buff with minimal heat, and metal is high speed with a bunch of heat.
  19. here you go homo heres some pics fo ya
  20. packin up, weather is lookin decent, maybe a little rain on friday it looks like but i think we will survive. saturday is lookin good. cant wait to go, but i still gotta get some work in tommorow so counting the hours.
  21. i believe it will be lake, houseboat, jet skis, friends , food, and good ol marina soap opera weekend choas as usual!!! nothing like a weekend and the floating trailer park to kick summer off right!!!!
  22. headin to coral pink this weekend with some friends. just put a new battery in Julie's kFX and an headin back out to do some more "hauler prep" cant wait to go. I have never been there, but we are going with some friends that say we are gonna love it, so i am looking forward to it. If anyone is headin up that way feel free to crash the campsite!
  23. i was just clicking the weather link on the home page (for saturday), it did drop though since yesterday, now it just said 13 and 20, but increasing to 19 and 30 sat night. regardless though i would still love to get out, i was kicking myself last weekend for not going , and taking advantage of the weather. i would love to knock the dust off my bike!........imediately follwed by getting dust on my bike?!
