We did too good...worked ourselves out of a job Was supposed to go 30 days, only lasted 7...oh well. Home sweet home!

I think it was GM. It looked legit, but I usually pass on the extended warranty options. Yah, that's what I meant as to the "split term". I did not know about the 5yr/100k mi. powertrain, though. That defineately changes things. When she goes in this week with it, I'll have her get a quote on what the hubs are, as well as her mirror she wacked. Maybe that'll be her christmas present
-
REALLY? I got something in the mail early this year saying my warranty was running out, and I had the opportunity to re-up it. So was that just the bumper to bumper coverage? Did they offer a split term warranty, having the power train portion last longer? Also, would front hubs fall under warranty, because I just replaced the right side, and now the left is clapping. Thanks for the info! I'll defineatly have her take it in now

Aww man. I'll have to call my buddy and cancel the TB I had him order me then. I'm a DIY to a fault. I don't like to have any work done for me, when I can do it myself, but now it's sounding like I should just take it in to the dealership. Off warranty though; only got the 36,000 mile one I was waiting on him for the part, so I guess it's not getting fixed this weekend anyhow. She's driven it a little more, but no light yet. I'll have her take it in this week if she get's a chance.

Here's a few pics from my job in the desert. Crappy quality, hanging it out the window doing driveby's, but cool none the less. My christmas present( DSLR CAMERA ) is suppose to arrive monday. Maybe I'll get some better ones with that :assrock:

I just bought 2 odyssey batteries for my funco. I shopped around and found them as much as 200 each, but I was able to find a distributor on ebay that let em go for 153 shipped...I thought I got a better deal, only to discover it's the same case and CCA as for a rhino. With this thread, I got to wondering... The only reason that I know of, as to needing those dry cell batteries, is that they are mounted on their side...otherwise, perhaps I spent way too much

Sad to hear. ditto on watchin craigslist. Try watching LA cl and inland empire CL as well. My sister, a cop, says craigslist is usually where them scumbags dump their loot.

I got it cleaned up, and deleted the code. She drove it 50 miles or so, and no check engine light; but I still noticed the idle rpms floating up and down. Thinking I'll have to replace the throttle body still. Thanks for your help!

Yes driveable. P0121 says its an elctrical output issue...not sure what(t/b) can be adjusted or how? The wife panicked when the check engine light appeared. I drove home tonight to check it out. read the code, but still don't want to chance her having trouble with me away. hoping to get parts and fix tomorrow night. mirror can wait, but needs to be fixed any how.

My wife's '07 tahoe just had a check engine light come on. I hooked up my little code reader, and it reads P0121. Website says throttle positioning sensor. 1. where can I get one, and how much? 2. where is it located on the vehicle? 3. If I can purchase one, should I exchange it, or are there potentially more issues at hand? Please advise, I'm out of town for the week, working on 29 palms MC base; my wife needs a car with the kids and all. I have about an hour in the evening, if I drive home, to install. Also, she wacked her passenger mirror against the garage door. How much am I lookin at for the LTZ pwr. mirror (w/ blinker,)Charcoal paint color?

LA Sleeve did a great job for me on my first sieze: my cr500 3 wheeler conversion. I locked mine up in 5th gear at El mirage about 12 years ago. Took the boat anchor down to them, and they got me up and going in no time.

So I tried with the christmas hints, but the wife says to just buy it myself. Maybe I'll end up wrapping it up for me as well . So I think I've decided on the Cannon T1i . It comes with two lenses, a bag, 4 gb card, and a few other trinkets @ costco for $749. Sams Club was $799. For my research, it seems to be entry- intermediate camera, but seems a little cheaper than the nikon D5000, and alot cheaper than the nikon D90. The research I did compared it to the D90, so price became a persuading factor. Gonna order one up, and see what I can do. Still open to suggestions & advice -
Well, first we called one of the vendors to get a # for the rangers, but he said to call 911 immediately. Felt reall silly calling them, but they said no worries, and transferred our call to the ranger station. I'm not sure I would reccommend 911, but I need to look get the rangers station # so We have it. Andy

2 weeks ago @ glamis, I heard from a vendor, there was a side by side doing a u- turn at/ in the drags; rail coming, launched off the top of him, and hit a spectator,a lil boy on a quad. I heard that he was more or less cut in half, and died at the hospital. While we were there, we saw a bike going the wrong way up the drags, right up the middle He feared that with that desrt race incident, and now this, the drags might get shut down/ banned as well. -
What year is the car? Was the new motor a rebuild of what you had, or a transplant from another donor bike? My Father in law might be interested.

Sounds like a good idea! Last week, we a group of 4 10 year old boys joy riding in a rhino. Too small to be belted in, and still reach the controls. After nearly flipping it,and cutting through our campsite, about 5 feet from where a couple of toddlers were playing( one was my lil boy), we called a few #s to get a ranger out there. Hated to be the tattle tale, but it was too close, and somebody was gonna get hurt. Ranger came looking, and I helped identify them. Big thanks to the rangers for helping us out! Having a list of #s would've come in handy for us; great idea

Dug up a funny classifed; What's the ETA for an order based on today's inventory :clown:

Definetly no chunks, it just seemed like a lot. When I ragged it off, it was just sludge.

That looks better, how do you doctor them?Ok I read the photo thread now; still learning Thanks! Thanks man, I'd love to meet up again, but I'm outta the sand until at least christmas. When we're there, we're usually @ wash 7. You couldn't miss my bus if you wanted to . Trying to budget a trip a month, but it all depends on what calls come in for work...

Wow, looks great! I'd like to achieve that quality of a shot someday <------------------------------------------------------------ That d5000 I mentioned snapped off that new avatar shot I have...I thought it "froze the action" pretty well. I let my wife's sister outta the car and then came "drifting" sideways right at her. I Might just have to start dropping christmas hints with the wifey -
As long as you have you current reg/ green sticker, I think your fine.
