  1. Again, I'm no photo guy , but I got these yesterday. A little too close to camp in one shot, oh well. The painter has great artistic abilities, but might have rushed it a little

Thanks for the help fellas. I serviced the whole car thouroughly before my season opener, including the trans, and all is good. I did however see quite a bit of metal sludge on the drain fitting magnet. Concerned, but no issues or sounds out in the dunes. Thought maybe I'd change the oil again just to get a good baseline of what to expect to see in there each season.
  3. Ahh yes, the un posted, members only , secret rule of the two right lanes only, on a 4 lane +, for trailering...Don't forget, you are only allowed thelane next to the right for about half a mile (passing rule) on a 2 or 3 lane stretch...Gotta love this state! Jack, just be glad you're not a commercial license, 16 or more is a suspension! Regardless of which vehicle you're driving when you're pulled over. No option for traffic school either. That's why I have to drive like grandpa snail now
  4. Thanks for the help. So like I said, I don't know jack squat I don't even know what DSLR stands for I just don't know what a good camera is: My wife paid around $500 for a canon G5, back in the day when 5.0 megapixels were impressive , and it rarely takes a pic without getting blurry ; maybe it's my parkinson's shake Anyhow, I read posts about a D50 model, and was just curious how this one stacks up? I haven't done any research on any cameras, just hoping for suggestions from some of the pros
  5. So I don't know jack squat about real photography, but I want to. My sister got a D5000 at costco, also currently on sale, and she likes it, but I'm thinkin it might be an amature version of a real camera. It comes with 2 lenses, and it's 12.3 mega pixel. If I'm gonna drop any coin on another camera, I want that lightning fast shutter speed to get those good action shots. Any suggestions for this greenhorn?
  6. This week's Costco mailer has a coupon for $70 off any set of 4 bridgestones
  7. yah, probably to far for one set of tires . Just hoping to help this guy out.
  8. Where are you located? I have a fellow duner buddy with his own business out of Riverside. He's a mobile service, that comes to you, without the overhead of those big storefronts, so he is usually the cheapest. I've been ordering all of the fleet tires through him for a couple of years now. The company is called Roadman Tire Service, and his # is 909-641-3252. Talk to Chris, the owner, and tell him Andy sent ya. If you're not too far, I'm sure he'll be happy to earn your business.
  9. It's always good to consider both sides of an argument, but one should note where NPR get's their funding from. I would hardly call them a politically nuetral organization.
  10. Technically, I acquired it through a trade. I'm too broke to pay attention, much less for a bike this nice. Also to note, it'll be for sale soon.
  11. I picked this up this week. I just gotta go take my permit test so I can ride it :moto: :assrock: :nana:
  12. Awhh man, got a solar induced migraine at about 1:38ish Nice video, can't wait till I can get some sand fix
  13. I'd go rent a tractor before I'd rent any labor (where's the my 2 cents smiley)
  14. Ditto, I got this as an email several times: it's getting out!
  15. I wish I was a little closer. My bobcat would do the trick; just too far for me
  16. I heard about this: it's about 5 miles from where I live. What a piece of :poo: . As if drivers don't have a negative stereotype already. I have a sister and a couple of buddies that work in law enforcement, and this is my biggest fear for them; some coward with a piece, on the run...I hope they catch him quick, and let him bleed out slow!
  17. You better get a handle on the leak before you next trip :clown:
  18. ^ exactly. I think I heard over 50% disapprove of Reid's performance, yet he's back in. :freakin_nuts: I think they're all corrupt, regardless of the letter behind their names; I think that is what power and money being waived in you face does; however, I think the country as a whole stepped in the right direction. I think we should've voted out every incumbent! Now neither party has control to blow through, I don't know, let's say $3trillion. Maybe some gridlock will help slow down the spending of our current "messiah". Historically, I believe gridlock in politics ends up strengthening the economy. With the threat of tax cuts expiring in 60 days, and now prop 23 going down, I see but 1 option remainin g
  19. Sounds like everyday for me. Running close to 80,000 with live loads(tankers). Yesterday, I had my signal on for 20 sec. @ the bottom of my on ramp where the 2 lanes merge into 1. Stinking mfers had to keep trying to pass, even though I was on the bumper of a line of cars( I wasn't going any slower than anyone else). With nowhere else to go, I just merged it over, and this pickup kept fighting for position; he ended up on the shoulder telling me I was number 1 People's inconsideration leads to many accidents, as well as road rage. We get pretty ticked when we're dealing with this all day long! I had to change my signature after yesterday to my favorite "DRIVING" song
  20. That's just too cute! That weight doesn't sound bad to me; A friend SU car with the subie comes in around 1800 with all the light duty economy options; I was thinking my v8 car was 2200-2400ish never scaled it yet.
  21. HAhaha, This wasn't supposed to be the price is right? or was it? I thought it'd be light with that GN motor I'm thinkin I'm way off now
