Jon I don't think the average sand car owner myself included doesn't wonder how well their car will hold up in a big crash. I myself have been doing this for a long time and make sure all my passengers are belted in and safe. As a driver I like to have fun but I don't drive with my head up azz. Accidents happen but most of these wrecks are due to either novice drivers or people driving beyond thier own or their cars abilities. I have seen some pretty bad crashes that people have walked away from and some that I don't care if you were driving a nascar chassis the body can only take so much force and abuse did not walk away. I have been looking for a LT car and funco for balance and safety would be one of my top 5 cars.I don't see any government standards being enforced for an offroad recreation veh. Unless people pull their heads out of their azz alot more people will die in the dunes and offroad because they don't use their brain not because of what their driving. Just my 2 cents. :wedgie:

I've been on GD.com but never posted I don't get the same warm fuzzy feeling inside from just reading the posts and how welcome everybody makes you feel. I can't tell you how many people total strangers other than chatting on line go out of their way to come say hi and meet ya. DDR attracts alot of great people and we would kick in whatever help or support to keep DDR going and going .Thanks again to all the moderaters and staff that keep DDR fun for all of us and thanks to the other members for keeping me laughing my azz off at work. :wedgie:

Let Dave look at it he is my go to guy on both my raptors fixed a oiling problem none of the shops in vegas could find .The 2001 raptors are the one with weak 2nd gear they upgraded to beefier 2nd gear and shft in 2002 and changed again slightly for 2003. :wedgie:

Great pics Dave. What a great weekend, Wicked sand toys put on a heel of a show had the best dune runs i"ve ever been on in Glamis and out of a group of 32 LT cars not 1 azzhole in the bunch. We had a lot of fun met alot of nice people. Nice to go to glamis and dune with good people. Thanks for letting me ride along Dave.

My weekend obsevations you can fit 8 campers in a spot made for 3 campers People at coral pink are really cool even when you overrun their camp trying to fit in You can fix anything with bailing wire and zip ties Late night star watching in the dunes with your better half really fun It would be nice to have a warning about wheel loss problems on a quad before letting me ride it VW beam cars can take the whoops just as fast as a quad Coral Pink kicks azz

I wish I could miss work to go if it was on a weekend no problem. I would like to thank all the DDR people that can make it to represent all our views thank you so much for going and representing the Dumont comunity.

Cole soory to hear about your leg I guess that will give us some more time to rig up some training wheels and a wheelie bar for a quad. We'll have you covered for next time.
