  1. Thanks for letting us watch... and for not putting it on it’s lid!! Looked like that’s where u we’re headed in real time.
  2. Wasn’t a problem Buddy. The line was so long that plenty of people stopped. Rodney, Brian, Cody and a bunch of others that I didn’t know. All good. Wish we could go on a ride today!!!
  3. Thanks to everyone who stopped, when I broke a heim jouint, on my lower A arm. Thanks to Brian and Amanda for getting me safely back to camp. Parts from Theron and wrenching help from Gary, back on the next ride. What a great weekend! Thanks again Pete and Anna.
  4. Rolled in Wednesday afternoon. Totally empty!! Overcast, cool and calm. Looking forward to some dune rider company soon!!
  5. We saw both of the rzr’s Being towed out. Both cages collapsed, the single seat was worse. Neither accident looked that forceful. I don’t have info on helmets or belts. Just keep getting the word out. You have to put a proper cage, and belts, before you go riding.
  6. until

    See you there!!
  7. I watched the jump. Right when I got there. Holy S$&t!!!! Massive!! I’m hoping that Neal got a shot of it. Biggest launch I’ve ever seen in person. Told my son about it but hoping for a pic. Sorry about you smashing a rim.
  8. What a great time!! Thank you for organizing it and for all the introductions. Great to finally meet you guys. And for taco night!!
  9. The wind just stopped and this place is empty. Perfect conditions for Buggy Roundup this weekend.
  10. We were at the same time. July 20 to August 3. Just got back. It was an awesome annual trip.
  11. We have been there the last 5 Aprils. Total of about 35 days. I would say about 10 where shade and/or A/C felt good. Most were perfect. We had about 5 days of terrible wind, in the afternoons. Mostly it is good. The sand is great, and there is never many people there. We will be there again this year. Say hello...
  12. Good job Vegas style. NIce to meet you in person, at the North Pole the other day. See you again someday.
  13. Headed out the weekend before and heading home on Turkey Day. Nov 21 to Nov 28. Can't wait to get out there!!
  14. If you can I'd like to see a complete write up on the process, time it took, what all's involved, etc., as well as what other things need to be done in conjunction with the turbo set up and costs of course (if your willing to share). Thanks The Turbo kit came with everything needed. The install took one day, working slow and methodical, and never done it before. I switched to the overdrive clutch, which combined with the turbo is a massive change. Other than that, the motor is stock. I am running about 9 lbs of boost. It you did some motor work, low compression pistons, you could run up closer to 13 lbs. There are a lot of parts, but the directions are very good, pics etc. and it went together pretty well. I got a good deal, from GTP. The sticker price for the turbo is about 5K. This includes the electronics to change over to the turbo. The clutch is around 1500. I havent driven a 900, or 1000, so can't compare them, but the 800 is lighter, narrower etc. The rzr, and 4 quads, exactly fits in our trailer, so we were not going to get something else. Any other questions, just ask.
  15. The acceleration and top end are incredible. I also added the overdrive clutch, also from GTP offroad. The combination is awesome. I had the car going just under 70 mph with more to go and ran out of smooth sand. I would say it is roughly twice as quick and about 50 percent more top end. Highly recommend it.
  16. Realized I never posted up pics of our new tow vehicle. We actually bought it at Dumont last Thanksgiving trip. 1994 International 4900 with DT 466 and best of all 4x4. If you see us out, stop by and say hello. You won't mistake the Tonka truck for anyone elses. Ride Safe,
  17. The 800s now runs like they should, lots of power and fun to ride with the quads. Many thanks to GTP off road. They gave me a great price and unlimited follow up when I did the install. Any questions, just ask. We are trying to get to Dumont for Thanksgiving but gave it a shake down at Pismo and the Desert.
  18. never had a problem and don't know anyone who has, but we still run a cable through all the toys at night.
  19. We will be there late Friday and staying to the next Thursday. Big international 4x4 truck parked near pooper #10. Says "Tonka" on the rear window. Stop by and say hi.
  20. We were there last week. About the same. 70 with no wind and no people.
