If I was wasted I would have puked when I went down around midnight......not at 5:30am like I did. I have a severe case of GERD (so bad the esophagus has been biopsied for cancer) and I have to heavily medicate at night......if I eat or drink anything in abundance too late at night I think it stops digesting due to the meds and eventually it has to come up. That's why I puked in the AM. I got up to take a leak and had heartburn.....so I took a Tums. 1 Tums and 5 minutes later I knew it was coming up. I have heartburn every single day of my life whether I drink or not....whether I eat or not. It's just a part of my life and medication takes most of it away.
