crd450 Posted August 9, 2006 Posted August 9, 2006 Im bringing a generator for sure. As far as fuel for the light towers, dont they run on diesel? From what I read on the United Rentals website they also have extra outlets on them, and they are around 12KW. this has been confirmed, the light towers do run on diesel, not sure about the extra outlets though. i am picking up the second one saturday morning and will be leaving my house between 4 and 5. see everyone out there. If everyone could at least meet up w/ us sometime throughout the night and kick in at least 5 or 10 bucks, that would really help payback crd450 and Sam for getting the lights out there. Come see us at the botton of Banshee Hill where the DDR banner will be setup. There will be a pot of some sort setup for them. Quote

1BADYFZ Posted August 9, 2006 Posted August 9, 2006 Guys the money thing is not a big deal on my end, i Love this sport so im glad to do it. But if you guys do help it will go twords the refilling of the generator before i take it back. The light cost for 24 hrs use is 115$ and i will be picking up a set along with chuck. The good thing about the gas situation is the lights will run all night on the tank they supply us with when we rent it. Other then that i will be there early doing some test runs on the YFZ and setting up the course for the rest of us. It looks like a great event if all works out. I deff want to meet all that were involved with this so i will be chillin at the DDR camp ....come on by and say hi, IF not ill be the one on a black and red YFZ that is pretty quick.... Quote
