Just Mike Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 Just checking in to see what everyone is up to for the summer. We have been fairly busy at the shop fixing up peoples rides from the past seasons abuse. We are hoping to get some trips going to Coral Pink, Little Sahara and Idaho Dunes. We are building my XP900 just a bit more and hope to get it in the sand with in the next few weeks. It should be putting close to 200 HP to the ground. It should be interesting. Adam some has done some great things with his Raptor as well. W hope to see some of you out int the dunes this summer. Let us know what your plans are and we will try to meet up. Quote
ynot Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 I will be in St. Anthony's leaving here on June 6th. Lot's of spaces nearby are open at Idaho Dunes and it's the coolest part of the summer up there. Terry Quote
dunefreak Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 I don't see any sand in my future this summer. Just lots and lots of trails. Quote
Just Mike Posted May 1, 2014 Author Posted May 1, 2014 Want to go to the DIRT? I may try to get a dirt trip in this year. Not sure how the rzr will react in the dirt. I am guess it would be all over the place. Quote
SAND~~SNAKE Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 do you really need all 200 ponies in the dirt? lately apply the throttle and have fun! Quote

sanddunesaddict Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 lightly applying the throttle may keep it together for more than half a trip Quote
Adam @ GTP Off Road Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 Looking forward to Coral Pink, Lil Sahara (hopefully in June) and St. Anthony (hopefully in September). I also plan on hitting up Florence Oregon with the family when I visit them this summer. Should be a good summer, with some time out of the heat. I past used to the heat, and just want to avoid it whenever possible. the Raptor is almost done with the Ported head now on, and it should be about a 65-68hp bike right now. Only a couple things left to do on it, then I will be adding in a RZR 900 (or 1000) to my stable of vehicles. Quote
sand chick Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 (edited) I am hoping for Coral Pink Memorial weekend, 4th of July weekend and Labor Day weekend... other then that no sand in my future. Edited May 7, 2014 by sand chick Quote
