water main valve

so this morning i awoke to a water main valve break spent about three hours this morning driving everywhere for the repair kit . fyi if you need a repair kit for a wilkins 420 valve go to star nusery not lowes or home depot but they are going fast thanks to the cold weather . by the whey star nursery rocckkkss

Yeah I was awoken by the wife at 6:30 this morning and told we had a waterfall going outside. Apparently the anti siphon valve blew apart. Must have happened late last night before the pool equiptment turned on and would have had water running through it. So it was a search for the part and yeah Star nursery was the only place in town that had the part. You should have seen all the people wandering around Lowes plumbing dept with broken parts in their hands.

I show up to work at ThumperTalk this morning and found out the lines on the roof for the swamp cooler swelled and burst... we had a water fall in the warehouse... been mopping since 8am my arms hurt!!!

Not to sound like a smart a$$, ya ever heard about a wet/dry shop vac or a carpet cleaner just to extract the water. just a thught.

Hope everone drained the water out of the hot water heaters in their motorhomes and trailers. It will freeze also. Don't need any suprises on the next trip. :chev_bowtie: :chev_bowtie:

i had 2 pressure vaccum breakers pop on me as well.... had my dads landscape company fix it... when the parts got picked up, the guy said that i got the last 2 and over 2000 have sold this week at the 1 location alone. and now they are on a 3 week backorder unless you wanna pay for shipping

thought i was gonna be lucky, but nope, mine broke too, still have to go to star nursery, luckily i ran into a plumber at lowes, told me what to do in the meantime.
