Nextel Cell Service - Dumont

Does anyone know if Nextel works out at the dumont?

My nextel gets service pretty good out there at the entrance is the best

I used to have Nextel. If you want service, go to the creek, or to the top of Comp Hill. Those are the two spots I found worked the best for Nextel.

I know Verizon works real well for me.

Verizon rules out there, had no idea until Halloween and I had better reception than at home.

I switched back to Verizon, and I was sitting in my MOHO last weekend at Dumont talking on the phone...............it was so friggen cool...............

I hear ya there. I actually had work call me when I was turning onto the 127 in Baker. Luckily I have no service in Dumont....and like it that way.

i had nextel it only worked for me at the entrance.. now i have verizon and i have 3 bars on my phone when im out anywhere at dumont... it rocksssssss

Nextel also works at the North Pole (in Dumont in case u are thinking otherwise). Ross (justintime) used to go there to make calls. Clear reception too. He has since switched to the dark side (Verizon).

I just got a pay per use phone from verizon JUST FOR THE DUNES!!!!! now I can act like I am in the office while at the dunes
