dunefreak Posted December 25, 2007 Posted December 25, 2007 Would you drive your rail to Dumont? Looks like barefoot bob could! I got bored tonight. It would be pretty badass to dune snow covered dunes though! Quote
wsky70 Posted December 25, 2007 Posted December 25, 2007 I agree, that would be bad assk......SF Woody Quote
RacerX Posted December 25, 2007 Posted December 25, 2007 Quad, farm equipment, Jeep, sand rail, would all be snow covered. But only if the heater worked properly...... Quote
wingnut Posted December 25, 2007 Posted December 25, 2007 That would be bad a$$!!!! Just like growing up in Michigan!!!! Quote
aceisback Posted December 25, 2007 Posted December 25, 2007 As long as the snow wasn't too deep.... have to be able to read the contours to ride safely and we all know snow is lighter than sand so you might have some optical illusions making for a harrowing ride. And tracking all of that nonsense into your hauler... NAH! Quote
beau Posted December 25, 2007 Posted December 25, 2007 I have ridden dunes in the snow before. About 4 years ago my group decided to go to Crescent Dunes for TDay instead of Dumont. It snowed about 3" one day and it was a blast, well except for freezing our off. Quote
sanddunesaddict Posted December 25, 2007 Posted December 25, 2007 I've been at Dumont with snow on the ground...It was awesome. Getting there and back isnt fun though. Quote
