I know this is off topic, But there is a street called Kelso Dunes in Henderson, i drive by it everyday lol, Didnt ever know that there really was a Kelso dunes though. Looks like it would be a fun place to ride!

Yeah I feel ya, Im the Christmas decorator of the house. I usually refuse to put the decorations up before Dec. 1st. But this year I kinda had no choice since I could go into labor like any day now. So I just did whatever inside decorations I could do, like the tree, and stuff like that. But when the hubby comes back from dumont... Hes gonna see that Im gonna need a lot of help (imgaine a pregnant woman, standing on a kitchen chair trying to straighten the top of the christmas tree) Yeah, Not having it lol. so right now were going for the tree slanted to the left kinda look.

Sorry, im in a hurry, my husband (evil beaver) went to dumont last night looking for his friends, they are not where he said they would be at so he wants to meet up with everybody at the ddr campsite but cant find it. Is there anybody who hasnt made it to dumont yet that can tell me so I can call him real quick while he still has recption on the dune hes on. Hes gonna keep going back to the top of the dune every so often to see if I have ne news, any help would be great!

Sounds like fun, Ill bring it up to darrell, this would be a good trip to tune his quad for the Halloween trip next month. Hopefully we will make it, I should know by the mid of next week

I forgot to mention to you guys that we found out that we were actually going to be expecting a BOY in Dec. Not a girl lol. I told a couple of people it was a girl cuz that is what the first ultrasound said, but still had my doubts about it. But they confermed a couple of weeks ago and We will be having a LiL Darrell In December. :ahhhhh: Just wanted to let yall know.

Yep Thats her, I wouldnt call her cute tho, more like a Miss Spoiled little brat! lol jk. But seriously tho, im not even kidding anytime she felt the leash tug on her collar she thought she was dying a bloddy murder lol

All i gotta say is fuk that road lol. We had to go 5mph and we got lucky if we made it to 8mph. finally we had to follow our buddie and drive on the side of the road in the dirt as much as we could. at least on there we could have done 15mph... i cannot wait till they finish that road.. (if they ever do)

well all in all we probally should have stayed in this time. sat night darrell had to work later then expected, then we found out that we didnt get to use the motorhome. then we did, then we didnt, then we did again ooooh what a headache. so we rushed out and got to dumont kinda late. the trip in took us a while itself. damn enterance road. then we had trouble finding camp, when we did find camp (we were the white motorhome parked next to the four door f150 and the chevy btw ) they all started to gear up and that is when my husband realised he forgot his riding bag so he had to take to borrow his friend shane's gear since he couldnt ride his quad cuz he needed oil... (major thank yous to whoever it was that spared some oil.. great karma! i didnt know who that was, but thank you very much!!) while they were out riding, i got settled and started to make dinner to realise that our stove wasnt working so we brought a small bbq inside, stuck it on the stove and nearly burnt the place down! i dont know what was up with the grill but every so often the propain would make the flame go high and id have to pray for it to go down. meanwhile i have our two month old puppy outside on a leash screaming her head off cuz she thinks she is being beatin to death cuz everytime she would go too far on her leash it would pull her back.. took her long enough to realise what was going on.. (so sorry if anybody thought i was beating my dog lol, not the case at all, although i was going to come pretty close if she didnt get smart and realise that everytime she ran away from the motorhome it would choke her lol) the sand storm kicked our a$$, we had everybody crammed into the motorhome cuz it was soo windy out. but that is when it started to get good.. wow, let me reprhase that cuz five guys and one girl in a motorhome is not the meaning of good lol jk... i guess i ment that is when it started to get funny. everybody (but me) was getting drunk and just watching them be stupid was good times by itself. they all made up their own words that night lol too bad the weather was so bad and that darrell didnt bring his riding gear, we would have stayed longer oh and whoever was flying that kite, you entertained my dog for quite a while. she never saw a kite before and wanted to go chase it lol. NEXT TIME we will be more prepared!

hey now, the last potluck i went to i stopped by, dropped off my food, said hi to people and left, so I guess I didnt stick around long enough to see how the ddr potlucks really go on. so neways, as of now im counting down we have 50 hours till we head out to dumont.

Yeah, That sounds fun she likes to chase the quads at least we would be able to chill at the bottom of comp hill. ne 1 want to take me to the north poll too? lol still havnt seen that damn thing! ne who, darrell should be getting off work a bit earlier then he is used to so we should be getting there before dark (if i get off my butt and get everything ready before we leave) i dont know if there is any other thread or if its too late for this or not, but is there going to be a potluck later sat night or anything like so?
