Oh No, I can still smell it Okay let me rephrase this, since everybody at my camp was even laughing at me about this... Is there a map of dumont that points out all of the sheitters, thenumbers so you can kind of get an idea of where people stay and stuff... kind of like the north pole map..but revised lol

We wanted to go to carter to buy the hubby his quad. He sold his mustang and had 7500 cash on him. Waited early in the morning for them to open. Got to deal with a sales manager and told them we wernt leaving without a quad, told them we had cash. (my husband is a welder and had his work clothes on so mabie they thought he couldnt afford one or something and it probally didnt help that I went in my scrubs lol) They wanted to go through all this paperwork for financing and we didnt want to finance. we wanted to buy it outright. I guess they didnt belive us when we told them we had the cash in our pocket. cuz after the guy got cocky and rude with us saying that he would rather us finance, we whipped out the cash and he then had a change of heart and was totally nice to us.. by then he had already put a bad taste in our mouth and then we left and bought the quad for cash from las vegas motorsports. They even threw in a free helmet and a shirt of my choice. the customer service was awsome there. Im not hating on carter. I love their gear there, but their sales manager was kind of rude and im glad we ended up going somewhere else. Mabie next time that man wont judge a book by its cover. and I learned that If I want some top notch customer service that I shouldnt roll out of bed a the crack of dawn and wear cozy clothes to buy a 7500 quad lol

The reason why I thought he was moving was cuz he was following a u haul truck. but it could have been a couincidence lol

hmmm... does he have kids? or a reason to take kids trick or treating last night? cuz I had this guy i handed candy to ask how dumont was and I was like (how would he know I went to dumont) unless he reconised me or something?

Not at all. u shouldnt have to rope off an area. if ure a responsible parent then your kids would know better then to wonder off. We have the roomates kids as well that ride around the camp, but they know that if there is any reason for them to have to change direction for five minnutes then they have the respect to do so. Their kids were riding, and im not being sarcastic, as close as they could to our tents and other quads. actually almost hit our truck cuz of them being so close, and all we asked for was five minnutes to clean out the carb. if any other camp would have asked the kids at our camp to do so, we would have been more then happy to tell them to go the other direction for a few minnutes to they wouldnt kick up dirt. They were doing roosters and just being Boogers on pourpose.

Yeah, I didnt get to stay long at the potluck. I dropped off the side dish and met a couple people. Then I had to head back to camp and get my drink on lol. Deffinatly will meet up at t-day. Ill have my banshee as well.

i think we live in "blue diamond ranch", but toward the back which is where i saw him pull out of the next road over. that would be cool if they were movin in and not out, then we would have ddr riding buddy to cruise in the desert behind our house with lol

Im with you guys as well. Its horrible that the accident happend. I feel for the families. I really do. I hope that they can deal in peace and not be reminded of all of the what if's. They're in our prayers as well

Yes, sheit happens it was just the situation and those along with it that sucks about it. But it Will get resolved and we Will be having the quad up and running by turkey day.

Im sure robert will be giving you another call to correct himself. because it wasnt seized up. It overheated from leaning out. they did take apart the motor and found that the top head and the rest of the piston was white as snow due to leaning out. you could see the heat color distoration cuz there was not enough fuel. Ill have my husband give you guys a call.

It was deffinatly a 4 door, kinda faded paint.. or it could have just been dirty. dark tint. the ddr sticker was kinda big on the drivers side with got sand underneith it, the dirt addictions sticker was on the lower pass. side and the bumper had a "I eat with the pigs" sticker on the drivers side, and the pass bumper had another ddr sticker on it. I live in the blue diamond and decatur area

totally seeng the disrespect. We had one of the quad carborators opened up and the camp next to us had their kids driving a rhino in circles around the both of our camps. we asked them politely to steer the other direction for a few minnutes and they did so... but then they told their parents that we asked them to do so and then a few moments later they came back blasting music and smiling at us.. whatever we got the carb cleaned out and went on our way... but then the father drove through our camp and peeled out and was being a smartass about it.... Wow, what a way to set an example hunh?

Mabie we just got unlucky. I dunno. but We just dont think it was a coincidence that they all went to get their quads tuned, not just a good friend of ours, but also somebody that we met out at dumont had the same problem. If it works for everybody else, then more power... I guess it just wasnt our lucky day then sorry to put them on blast, just upset

my husband went there along with another guy from our camp.... along with another friend from another camp and got a dyno all in the same week... and some how all of their motors blew up... Not to happy with their dyno tuner.

hmmm where do I start? lol 1. DONT EVER go to powerhouse to dyno tune your quad the day before you leave to dumont... or actually EVER for that matter. 2. Always keep backup Amsoil wherever u go (Thanks guys for checking for me!) 3. If u ride on a quad that has jumper cables on the grab bar, then u might not ever want to turn the quad off.. (It just might not start again) :shocked2: (Thanks For The Jump Pete!) 4. bring extra ice or u might be forking over 4.00 for a tiny bag of ice 5. Dont ever sleep with a tent door open if u dont want to wake up with a mouth full of sand. 6. getting plastered on J.D. and then riding in the back of a buddy's truck over the whoops.. just dont go great together the next day 7. Im known as the Mustang Girl at the DDR camp... lol 8. everybody at the ddr camp kicks a$$ and I cant wait till thanksgiving!!!!

I had a decent time... considering the fact that our only running quad blew up .... Thank you everybody who tried to find some Amsoil... Wish I could have stayed longer for the pot luck, but as soon as I went back to camp I got drunk and then we went out to comp hill needless to say i was out of it lol... It was cool being able to put some faces to the names on here.
