  1. yeah i'm converting the bike into a trike to not have any vibration problems. i'm gonna have metal tech do the swing-arm and i'm gonna run all JJ&A aluminum axle, hubs, and carrier. as for the trans not holding up, i can't see a problem? if a little 25-30 hp. 250 can pull 21" paddles and my 225lbs. 500 cc's shouldn't have a problem with 75 hp. on tap.
  2. thanks alot, that is some really awesome work and that's what i'm looking for is someone that has done alot of cr500's or kinda specializes in 'em.
  3. hey 'yall i'm currently working on my new project. it's a cr500 converted to an atc, for hillshootin and the motor is worn out. so i'm wanting to know if anyone here knows of a rebuilder that is REALLY familiar with the cr500? let the input flow
  4. yep, saturday night at comp around 9:30 they were filming a dui stop on a silver pickup with two dudes and a chic? don't what came of it thou.
  5. that would be SWEEET !! :freakin_nuts: count me in.
  6. i'll also be back out there for pres. day if 'yall wanna hook up and do some hillshootin :freakin_nuts: i know for a fact that the yfz's take a beatin and that tires are ALL the diff. in the world. as for the raptor i own one of them to and it's piped, programmed and filtered and it's 2 to 2 1/2 bikes slower than my ltr. hell my 250r 3-wheeler smokes it but it's a great tractor let us know.
  7. i know you your bike is really fast because i've seen you run but my bolt on ltr LOVES the 7 blade 21x12x8 haulers (68" r/o) they were the best money i've spent.
  8. your bike deffinately runs good it was cool watching you race my boss' kids bright yellow/grey lt250 with a yamaha 600 crotch rocket motor in it you beat him but it was a brand new bike and it's first time out
  9. what he said ^^^^^ skat-trak haulers, 20x10x8 with 7 blades and bead to bead buff they work great and dune good also. and if your going to do alot of duning don't go larger than a 65" roll out. call SANDTOYZ UNLIMITED and talk to JOHN --> 818-500-7263 or the guys at ATV CYCLE SPORTS 222-3586
  10. i've been running amsoil dominator because everyone i know that's road for years said it's the best, but.. when i got this zilla they were saying 927 castor @ 24:1 ?? which seems like ALOT of oil and some have told me that 927 castor is bad at gumming up powervalves??
  11. beautiful bike man zilla's are the chit and i've always wanted one and the week before thanksgiving i finally got one and i'm the second owner i've been trying to get some info/learn about these from q and the others on quadracerhq but i'm not really getting any feedback from them
  12. count me in 'all i'll be there with my usual rides--->.. and my newest toy THE ZILLA.... man sand is addicting
  13. me and my boss' bought our's at nevada off-road and they were $20.00. my boss' are also in the process of trying to be able to sell them.
  14. OOOHHHH YEAH, mine does the same thing. sleeps under the covers or in between us flat on his back legs sprawled all over. he even goes so far as to give gwen the stink eye in the motorhome if she is in HIS seat! (the passenger seat) oh yeah and he likes beer
  15. soooo for the halloween get together, will we be able to buy the season pass then (like normal) or will we have to get them elsewhere? or will they be for sale on the kick-off weekend?
  16. WOO HOO that's SWEET any word yet on how the rest of the road is goin?
  17. we keep our guys on tethers hooked to the motorhome (when i can get them OUT of the motorhome ) and we have a drawer of zip-locks for pickin up <---my #1 <---raptorcowgirl's baby
  18. i plan on being there hopefully i get the motorhome squared away by then
  19. hey there 'yall, i'm still having electrical issues with my motorhome! thank god it didn't happen out at dumont last weekend  but i wanna know if any of ya know a good rv mechanic that's knows electrical and won't take me to the cleaners as i have a limited budget :argue: which i know sounds really lame as it's a diesal pusher which i've herd can be extremely pricey to fix so any help would be great.
  20. well i'll tell ya that road is a little bit better. probably alot better for trucks but as far as me and my motorhome go it is still TOTALLY i timed the travel from the guard shack/trailer to the highway and it took 30 minutes!! because anything over 5 mph it wouldn't have stayed together to get to the road! it still needs lots of work and the clock is ticking.... at that rate a busy weekend traffic will be backed up to the road and it'll take an hour or more to get in
  21. it was a great time i got to meet ogp and ocean03....totallt cool people weather was nice 'til about 11:30 then it got nice again at like 8:30 still not to keen on runnin up the hill at night so i observed at the bottom but it was a total blast gettin used to the 250r 3-wheeler during the day saturday and sunday mornin maybe i'll meet some more of ya on halloween.
  22. the 11th is also a bonus for me...it's the weekend of my b-day so beer, sand, and friends(hopefully i can meet sum) is a great weekend for me :freakin_nuts:
  23. well...it depends how many motor mods are done but if you plan on "general" duneing DO NOT go with padla brats! they are way to thin for duneing! they are designed for racing. i.e. no rocks, sticks, hardpack etc. i would say (and this is my .02) get 21x12x8 7-blade double buff haulers. i'm assuming that you have the std. mods=pipe, reeds, filter? oh and bye the way try and stay with 66-68 roll-out, any lager and it'll be too much tire. i suggest going threw john @ sandtoyz unlimited 1-818-500-7263
  24. that f'in goat trail tecopa road sucks going on to the shoshone turn-off is alot better and easier on vehicles/motorhomes but going threw baker is the most relaxed and is better if bad luck happens due to people and chp take your pic
  25. i'll be there!!! friday evening, saturday and leaving sunday mornin. i'll be trin out my new toy--->
