1.What is it?TRX,LTR,KFX,KTM? 2.What are your mods?Stock?Piped?Intake?550 stroker????? 3.What is your jetting at right now? 4.Is it brand new off the showroom floor? In order to help you need to include alot more information.If i translated that correctly it sounds like your header is glowing and its popping and backfiring.Another thing is it shouldnt run crappy because its new.It may be down on power if its bone stock.Anyway find out what your main jet,pilot jet and what number clip you are on on the needle and start there.You also need to see where your air screw is at.If its fuel injected then i dont know what the hell you need to do,lol.Im still riding old slow technology. A little FYI,almost all 4 stroke headers glow in the dark even with the jetting right.Now if you can see it glowing red in the daytime then you have some issues.

I just bought some household light from Lowes for real cheap and used the fixture off of it.Those lights are very common in household lights.If you are concerned with reliability,i used it for quite a while with no problems.Just an FYI,just about every Trailtech item ive ever used has had issues.Yes they have the greatest customer service on the planet.yes they will warranty just about anything they sell.The problem i have had is everything ive used from them(ie:lights,Flywheels,Stators)have failed.Ever since i went back to my OEM stator and flywheel my electrical issues have gone away.I know everyone has different results but after 5 failed flywheels i learned my lesson.

I wont be out for a little bit.I have a couple things i need to do to the motor to fix a little issue it has.Hansen Performance had a guy with them that had a 550 trx last trip.It ran well.Who did your headwork?

It was a YFZ491 RPA built(reno performance atv)Ya i have the orange YFZ.Its a 501 now though and substantially faster than the time you saw it.I had an 06 stock valved 480 motor last time you saw it.

There is a 505lb weight restriction for rider and quad combined.No shaws,no skinny gundrilled drag axles,no power adders,in frame silenced pipe,full brakes,no spindle mounts.You can use a 34" play axle.There are all the rules over on planetsand.You can run certain Oxy fuels like u4.2 and u2,a couple more too i cant remember them all there is a list they have of all the legal fuels.There is no motor build limit as long as its under 650cc's.the bike that won was a 491 stroker.

Once you start you just cant stop huh.lol 804 should rock man!!Let me know when you sort out that footage i would love to see it.Looking back on it i should have entered mine in the duner class.A friend of mine offered up his megaphone sparks if i wanted to run it but i just didnt want to.I went to grudge race and had a great time. Sopporo beers rock!!

Hey Roy,the Raptor ran good man!!Did you end up getting any footage.I raced mine a little more later in the day but my foot was soaked from the coolant again It ran like a champ,i just cant figure out why the hell everytime i go out im losing fluids from somewhere,lol.I might need to O-ring the head.Looks like you are ready for a swingarm.You looked like you were running well though.It was good to see you out there.Til next time!!

I was just wondering who is going to be out on the 8th.They are having the 4 stroke wars type event going on.Should be a good one.Permits and all so it wont be shut down.

Your bike has gotten alot faster since the last time i saw it.I wasnt ready for it the first race thats for sure.You really got it running good now,congrats.Ill be there on the 8th too.If you have the other race though post it up.I wouldnt mind watching it.

Ya it was cool to see the numbers but all i really care about is how it performs in the real world.I was happy that it made good hp/tq though none the less.Dan is a real cool guy to BS with for sure.Im glad that there are a few different guys with different builds and different porting and such to just see where they all make power and such.Weather its a high or low reading we all ran the same dyno so thats cool.Those are some good numbers.See you turkey day! -

That will only make it worse for ya,i love hitting the whoops,plus its a longer hill so it would just pull you more.Heavier bikes have an easier time at Banshee hill.I would be more than happy to race up comp. -

Ya i know all about the light weight stuff.Not cheap.Hey yours ran alot better last trip out.I also needed to regear so mine should be a couple mph faster than last trip.Too bad you wont be out for T-Day.Oh well glamis should be fun.C you next time. -

I dont know about the dyno questions,im no dyno queen.I would assume its at the wheels.You would have to ask dan that stuff.Capt i was thinking last night,you went from"No measly YFZ can beat muh Rappy" to"What the hell am i going to have to do to beat that LIL YFZ" LOL!!Funny huh!!Good times -

I went out to Power House Racing today and got my 501 dyno'ed.We didnt do any tuning just rolled it off the trailer and saw what it laid down.I think i could have gotten more too but i didnt have time to go get some c-12 so i had to use the Rebel Rocket Fuel 111 they sell at the pump here which has been sitting in my garage for 2 weeks. My mods are 3 mil hotrods crank 98mm Black Widow 14:25:1 piston DASA version of the WEB +5's 43mm FCR FCI Intake w/insert Ron Woods PUG 04 KENZ head w/+1 SS Valves Stock Flywheel Kickstart For no tuning and not the best fuel i was really happy with what it did.We used stock raptor tires and wheels.I already know it runs great i just wanted to see what the dyno said.Thanks to Dan,and Roy at PowerHouse for the dyno runs.First run EVER at the dyno for me since ive owned my YFZ. It was great to meet and talk with you guys.Thanks a million :worthless_without_pics:
