There ya go.100% full weight bike with pipe,programmer,and intake.Hell its even got duals so its probably over stock weight,lol.Its a good running bike though.

No Offense gazlay but his Rappy will probably beat your LTR.Its only a pipe,programmer and intake but its really quick.I rode it,its a runner.It was pullin 53mph up the hill which is real good for the mods.But who knows go run it.What do you have done to your LTR?That will give me a better idea of the competition.The average strong running 4stroke bolt on bikes(pipe,intake,programmer,or jetted)with a descent tire setup run in the 50's.What mph does your LTR run?I know John H's LTR runs great.Best running LTR ive seen so far.

If u say so.Ive been doing this for a while and i have yet to see any single cylinder atv's run with drag banshees.Maybe with some nitrous but not turbo bikes.It took a turbo nitrous hayabusa drag bike to run with the fastest banshee at banshee wars.No lil turbo 450 is going to do squat against a well built drag shee.

Nice ride,does it run too?I had my oem motor but the plan was always to drop a big bore in.Yours is nice though,i actually did a ground up rebuild.Mine was laying around in someones backyard for a couple centuries. rebuild stage It looked alot better with the black front hood but i scratched it on accident and stripped the rest off.I need to redo the seat again to match the red hood.

She is laying down atleast 8-9hp at the wheels,plus its an old school rigid :no_no: Did i mention thats on ALKY,lmao!!Ive even ran nitro thru it. :no_no: Tough little motor!!Keep in mind mine did outrun a weiner dog with my jockey riding so if yours can outrun say a cocker spaniel you got me covered,lol!!!!

a few have done it.The one i saw was a big turd.Tyson makes a turbo kit for them,I know Velocity Racing sells them.I seriously doubt you will be smoking alchohol banshees though.Another thing is most all the turbo quads ive ever seen are really slow out of the hole and the hill usually isnt long enough for them to really use them to full potential.

My compression on my YFZ501 is around 14.25.1 or more.I usually run c12,but ive ran the Rebel Rocket Fuel brand stuff.Its leaded 111 i think they claim.It runs well also.VP U4.2 will work also.I used to run VP u2 with my 14.1 stockbore.The Rebel Rocket Fuel is pretty affordable.Like 6 bucks a gallon.VP C12 is about $55 for 5 gallons.U4.2 is 100 octane oxy fuel that will work great with high compression motors and is about $60 for 5 gallons.Ive also ran 10-15% methanol with leaded 100 octane which runs really well too.Lots of options just depends on what you need performance wise or if you just want it to run.I think c12 and c14 are nice solid running affordasble fuels.The Rocket Fuel at Rebel is a budget minded alternative.Allthe others are for trying to squeeze more HP with fuel.Then you can always run a little nitro.That was more trouble than it was worth.Did that once and gave up on it.

i run renthal chains too.I use the R1 gold chain on the yfz.my friend coughed up the dough for the sidewinder TI chain but they are pricey.renthals are usually less than 100 bucks.my gold chain for 120 links was 60 i think.

Just like the front tires you were asking about,the last thing i would ever buy is geckos with the sandstars a close second.They are molded tires and very heavy horsepower robbing tires.If you want a good duning tire,get skat trak edges,or some sand tires unlimited sand skates.Sand Skate 1's are probably the best performing dune tire made.Skat Trak edges are more affordable though and are pretty easy to find used on ebay.I would try to stay away from molded heavy tires though.JMO

ITP dual ribs were my first sand tires on my YFZ.They are really heavy but real durable.After that i had double buffed skat trak mohawks.The mohawks handled much better and were alot lighter.If i ever went back to a dune style tire i would get skat trak mohawks for sure.JMO

You should take the ICAT off anyway and sell it to someone on ebay.Dyno tests have shown no improvements with the thing.Those carbs are really easy to work on.So is the cam timing.At TDC the dots on the cam should be even with the surface of the head on the outer edges.You need to line up the timing marks on the flywheel and check to see if its all in order.If its just the carb and it ran good at one time and you have changed nothing i would just clean the carb out.But before all that you may want to ditch the ICAT and try the oem one to see if that fixes you issues.

Is the YZ different than the YFZ?The YFZ cam dots line up on the outside edge of the head at TDC.Hotcams?

Great weather motorhome ran great Less time at the hill more time with the fam Bert survived Daughter got to ride the little quad in the sand for her first time and loved it Other daughters 1st trip to the dunes and she liked to eat the sand,lol Camp was far away and quiet Great for the kids to ride safely Good times with good friends 501 YFZ build ran harder than i ever imagined it would Pete and I had a good talk that was far past due Vegas Style had a 30mm socket that nobody else had that saved my trip,Thanks a million OGP's daughter was great for my daughter to play with and thanks a million for taking her on the Rhino rides,she loved it. My daughter emptied 3/4 of our water into the toilet playing in the bathroom Had JUST enough left for everyone to shower KIDS!!Gotta love em Camping far out away from everyone is the best thing ever!! Awesome trip!!

I have to pull the head off AGAIN and deck it.Hopefully this will be the last head gasket i replace for a while I kinda figured this one would go because i had to pull the head before i went last trip.If i can get it back together ill go for sure.I need about a week.Im going to regear too.Drop a tooth on the rear.It has plenty of TQ and HP to pull more MPH up the hill.

Well if Bert (sanddunesaddict) is selling his quads you might want to see if he would sell you his 21-12-10 9 cup Padla Brats.Those are awesome all aorund tires.U wont be getting stuck with those.Those would be perfect for your Raptor.The problem with molded tires like you are running is they are very heavy and dont float on the sand very good at all.Thats why the get buried so easy.The Padla Brats are taller and really light along with the 9 cups they hook up great and are really easy to turn because the light weight tire.The Brats dune really good too.Even if he doesnt sell his call Fullerton Sand Sports(714-484-5977)talk to Joe.If you already have a 10" wheel just buy a set of play cut Padla Brats.You could sell your sand stars on ebay to make up for alot of the cost of the new tires.If you want something a little cheaper cost wise get some 21x12x8 6 or 7 cup haulers.If you want really good duning tires the Sand Skates are awesome.Talk to joe at fullerton he will walk you thru it.Talk to bert too maybe he will cut loose with a set of his.Good Luck!!

Ya your bike is a runner for sure.I will regear mine and be back.iT should be capable of about 64mph with me on it for sure.It was still geared for the 480 and had plenty of torque and HP on tap to pull more gear.I ran it up the hill in 5th and it pulled 5th too I really like the torque of the BB stroker.We will do it again for sure.Good work on the stockbore!!

Huh?I dont get it.It was already a stock stroke 480 then i put the 3 mil stroke in it to make it a 501.

El Duners TRX was a monster too.Cooler rack and all,lol.That thing was gettin it.Nice job gerry.The apache bike(candy green and black trx) was there too.Rene was having a couple issues with it unfortunately.It was nice seeing everyone and chatting out there.Cant wait til next time.

I had a great time out there.Camping far away by bathroom 3 is awesome.Fairly quiet and i was happy that Tims daughter was there to play with my daughter.Thanks for keeping her busy.She had fun,and loved the rhino rides.Thanks a million.It was a great weekend,really nice weather.Warmer than other Halloweens in the past but nice none the less.

My 501 ran like a raped ape.I was really happy with it.The only single cylinder 4 stroke that beat it was the black 720 kenz raptor.Capt's Rappy was running much better.Looked like him and danny had some good races.Alot of fun over at the hill.I had my whole family with me so i didnt spend as much time over there as i usually do.
