  1. Okay I had the same problem, with onans they have to be ran every couple of weeks to make sure that they continue to work. My understanding is that the gas gets hard and varnishes in the jet and other orifices, and you can not clean them out well enough to work. I tried pushing a very thin piece of wire through all the holes which got my gen started and running for a few seconds, but never much longer. I ended up having to replace the carb, was like 3 or 4 hundred dollars. Onan carbs are not rebuildable and the rv shop won't do this because it would effect their emissions
  2. One of the best pics I have ever taken.
  3. Anyone know a good tint place? I live in north town so if someone knows a shop up here that would be great.
  4. I own a RAGEN and the first 6 months it spent it's life in the shop....Would I recomend a Ragen....HELL NO. Similar problem as above with the water damage. I am really bitting my tounge right now. :mc_smiley:
  5. www.race-dezert.com Great place for anything offroad, free, and tons of ranger stuff. Sold my truck in one day on their.
  6. I agree with the no kids in the trailer....my parents never let my brother and I do this for a reason and I will do the same. Never know if you are going to have an accident and structurally toy hauler will not with stand a rollover. Just plywood and 2x4's, unlike a car that is made out of metal and is engineered to with stand different situations (rollover/headon).
  7. WW are nice but you will pay the price if you buy a new one. With a trailer that big I probably would want some heat ducts towards the rear also, but what do I know.
  8. Glad everyone is alright, but why are they pulling a toyhauler with a 4runner. That can't be the safest tow vehicle even when pulling a superlite ww. Just like reading so many sites how people need to choose the proper tow vehicle, if another car was involved they could of been at fault because they were way over their weight limit. Anyways, glad everyone is ok.
  9. Everyone got out safely...and they got a newer and nicer motorhome out of it. Thats why we all pay for that insurance we have to carry.
  10. Think I might sell my 2 wheel...the bike just wants to go fast so it is hard to ride with my wife at a slower pace. Just any ideas what people think it is worth. The bike is an 02 with the cable actived power valve, renthal bars and besides that is stock. The thing is so fast stock and runs perfectly so why mess with it. I change the oil often and keep the bike clean. I have a new front rim for the front to match the back, I just need to build it. Also I have a brand new rear dirt tire. :mc_smiley:
  11. I found these pics on my inlaws computer in San Diego that were sent to me a couple of years ago by a buddy in Az. They were on their way back from Gordons and saw smoke. They pulled over and the motorhome was on fire! SH$%. So they were able to unload a toyota pickup that was in the enclosed trailer before it burned down. Believe there was a small gas leak. This was a beautiful motorhome that I made many trips in and was a shame it burned. Anything can happed. :mc_smiley:
  12. First week after moving to vegas, someone did this to my chevy out at aliante. Luckily they were not sucessful and were scared off somehow. I also had a customer that had this done in a casino parking garage w/ 8grand in damages. I paid around 400bucks for the repair, not going through insurance. They do make a plate that can be position so that this can not happen again, just don't remember were on the internet I found them.
  13. the car was very clean and sounded great
  14. That was some funny stuff...I could not stop laughing
  15. I love my 2stroke also, but dam those 4strokes haul a$$ up the hill. My bike does have trouble when on slower rides, the thing just wants to haul a@$.
  16. Had a good time again in the sand...my wifes family joined us for the weekend. First time in 20 years riding bikes, and a first for my 15year old sis in law. One of the bikes I borrowed from my uncle destroyed a piston. The ddr ride was good and fast but seemed to break up at each stop. Observations 1. Oil injection systems don't always work on blasters 2. 2 o'clock ddr rides mean sometime after 2 3. Damm the wind at dumont is cold 4. Rocks in the woops can destroy rims 5. Quads roost just as much as my moto 6. My wifes 400ex is a dog 7. The generator lives again :icon_twisted:
  17. leaving right now....ready for a nice weekend. don't really know where I am camping yet
  18. My buddy is coming out to do my garage at my house in vegas and wants to know if anyone is interested in getting their garage/concrete done. He can do either the epoxy floor coatings with the paint chips or an acid stain. With the epoxy you are looking at about $4/sq ft for a heavy paint chip coating, $3.50/sq ft light paint chip coating or about $3.50/sq ft for an acid stain. Both coatings will be waterproff and will add value to any garage. Anyone interested pm me or call me at 619-244-2197. I also have sample for all the different colors for both the paint chip and the acid stain.
