I have buddys that are cops in vegas and they suggest not exiting the vehicle.......this does not go over well, you will either be ordered back into your vehicle or place infront of a patrol vehicle. If you are infront of a patrol car you are now going to be patted down for weapons. Cops main concern is being safe and when you exit the vehicle this creates a possible officer safety problem. Also just because someone has a ccw that does that not mean the cops are going to search the car, that does not make sense. A ccw holder has to be generally a upstanding citizen so why would a cop want to search that vehicle, more than likely they do not have anything to hide.

Vegas police are having a rough year. A third Officer has died in the last 7 months the last one in a robbery turned murder. This time the Officer died at his own home due to a supposed random act by three guys who wanted to rob him at gun point. People need to be careful no matter where you live in this city. Just remember if you are out in your garage late with the door open at night be aware there are bad people around. My thoughts and prayers are for his wife and his two very young children.

The police do have a form when they believe a person driving is bad enough that they need to be retested by the dmv they can submit a form. The people, old or young, have to go back to the dmv and take the driving test again. This may not be the best way to get scary people off of the streets, but better than nothing.

You can contact the city attorney reference this case and make sure that you push for maximum sentence. The justice system here is not always the best but hopefully he has either aprior dui convictions or a criminal history that makes him a better candidate for jail. With a little bit of work you can probably find out alot about this guy on the internet and his criminal history. For you wifes personal defense a good choice is Sabre (blue canister) OC spray. I have my wife carrying this stuff when she goes to school. This stuff will stop a normal person in their tracks, it hurts like hell. You could always go the CCW (carry conceal weapon) permit, that is what I basically do. Here is a little Keltec 32 that is good for this.

The cops have nothing to do with deportations. They are not allowed to deal with illegal status. If there were any injuries it would of added charges.

Houses in nice neighborhoods are what criminals are looking for. Criminals break into nice houses for nice merchandise. I am not going to 28th and bonanza to find nice stuff. Most of these breakins are also smash and grab...in and out within a couple of minutes.

You should let metro build a case on this guy, maybe there is more illegal activity that this guy is involved in besides taking your check. The more information detectives obtain on this guy they can possibly get information on other bangers, putting more criminals in jail. You can do a police report any station, which ever station is most convient . You have burglary, possibly could go with embezzlement. You can't go grand larceny, but petit larceny, because the check is paper and is not worth more than $250. Anyways let the detectives build a case on this guy, maybe he will do some time.

Well if it is like my onan and sat for a while without being ran, you have a more serious/expensive problem on your hands. If I can remember correctly the onan's carb has such a small jet that once it is clogged the carb is worthless. I cleaned my carb several times, and tried to clean the jet out with no luck. I could get mine to start but it would not idle or stay running unless I held it wide open. Good luck.

my turbo went bad on the way to dumont, the egr valve went bad and some of the junk that built up on it hit the blades on the turbo, basically killing it. My truck was sputtering, shooting at random black smoke out the exhaust, and no power. I ended up with $3000 in warranty work.
