  1. Trying to talk the wife in to hitting up Death Valley this weekend. I'm sure after the experience we wouldn't complain so much when it hits 116 here in 29.

Did see a report on DV on the evening news tonight. Lots of folks there but not many speaking fluent English. Maybe that's my clue...

  2. "The company, located in Ogden, Utah, sold more than 9,000 of these electronic devices nationwide, resulting in an estimated 158 tons of excess PM emissions released into the atmosphere. This is equivalent to the emissions from 422 new long-haul semi trucks operating for a period of 29 years."

I call BS. Who came up with these numbers? I'm pretty sure my F-350 runs cleaner now than it did before I installed my Evolution. Or at least by seat of the pants testing anyway. And if all of this took place back in 2011 why was it not all over the news if it was such big deal to the EPA? I like the way my truck performs with the programming so until the Gov tells me I have to surrender it it will stay in the truck. Edge Evolution rocks!

  3. Outstanding trip report and pics. Can't wait to see the video. When Casey and I went up there last Labor Day on the way to DS Days (at St Anthony) I just couldn't believe how awesome the place was. Variety for days and tons of stuff to do around the area. The valley with the Dino tracks was quite the sight but getting up out of there in the F-350 turned in to quite the ordeal. Just can't beat the variety that the Utah dunes provide. Little Sahara is probably my favorite all around duning spot but Coral is right on par. That one-way trail is a must do for anybody heading up there.

Man you've got me jonesing for another Coral Pink trip. Maybe on the way to DS Days this year at Little Sahara we'll take the detour.

Having never been before I was going by some of the other trip reports on here so we went around, through Kanab. Having gone down the Cane Beds road while out sightseeing I didn't find it to be any worse that the Dumont entrance. When we were there it looked like it had been staked off for paving maybe. Guess not...

    Great report Pete.

  4. Hmmmm weird no takers???? Bwwaaaaa Haaaa haaaaa :)

Yeah, you woulda thought back in December that there were a few folks left who had some trips planned but had not yet gotten a pass. I went out for the free clean up weekend so I got absolutly nothing out of this years pass. Oh well, things happen in life. Made it to Glamis an a$$load of times so the whole season wasn't for naught.

Atleast I didn't wait until the end of April to try! Same results though...

  5. Hot Damn! Congrats to you guys. It sure wasn't from lack of seeking out voters. Now let's just hope that this series becomes and remains successful. Been looking like some small crowds but there sure is a ton of action, and a little bit of something for everybody at the event. And ticket cost are reasonable compared to other forms of entertainment.

  6. That is just too damn funny. Can hardly type from the tears. Thanks so much for linking this. Been in some hella pain from skin cancer treatment and this just made my day and took all of my discomfort away.

I would like to pour you a fine drink should we ever meet up in the dunes. Crown Royal for you sir?

  7. So all of these calls and not one person thought to ask about them opening the Glamis closure this month??? Supposed to be later inn the month so I'm praying for some cooler weather on one of the last two weekends.

Get to go visit "THE WALL" legally. Stumbled on it one day, or two, by accident. Hella awesome dunes back that way and they are supposed to open all the way down to Patton Valley.

  8. What if you get there on Wednesday evening but plan on particpating in the clean up, can you still exit the premises with your wrist band and get by without the weekly pass???

Have some peeps coming down from Utah who won't mind pitching in and just trying to save them a buck or two...

  9. Are you with High Desert Dyno? They show up out there several times a year, especially during FourStrokeWars, which means they will be there next weekend (16th). I've run in to them on a few off weekends too while they are tuning their stuff on Banshee Hill.

So what is your rate? I would be interested in getting my DS730 done properly.

  10. No pot shots Bruce. I'm just funnin' like the rest of ya. It will all be good around the campfire after some good long rides.

Is the other thread locked? Probably good at this point.

Have a buddy that grenaded his DS motor over in Wyoming so I may put you guys in touch with one another.

    Chirp chirp!

  11. i lied one more post. ace you filling like you can walk on water?? hold your breath

You've got some serious pent up hate going on in you. Of course I can't walk on water. But I can part it and drive these muffhuggin' M1A1 tanks through the opening.

Didn't mean to offend, I had no idea that you were the one making my breakfast panani. You make them well though, they are hella good.

You should have kept that one more post to yourself like you said but something tells me you will have the last word in all of this. I never said I could walk on water, only that we should sign the petition and get back to duning. And that I like me some panani.

    Play on
