  1. We will be by #3 Vic...hope to see ya

Bring that old man with you if he can still ride! lol

Oh he can still ride. That Turbo DS 800 is now a DS 1000 GSXR conversion. Had it down at Glamis two weeks ago and it is a screamer and a head turner. Ray and I will definitely be up at D the 14th-17th. Have some buds rolling in from Utah with another DS GXSR and a Busa car that weekend, and we'll chip in with the clean up and watch some FourStrokeWars. If you want to see two FAST conversion quads that will be the time.

I think if I can't get some Stevie Nicks tickets for Sat night I'm rolling in early Sat morning. Hope to see y'all then.

  2. Is anyone with something besides rails and RZR's going this weekend? Bought a season pass back in September and haven't been able to make it at all but the crew flaked on a Glamis trip this weekend so I am going to try and swing a trip to the D.

Might end up being just a day trip but it's still a trip, and after some of the winds this week it should be nice out there.

  3. If your are taking a 800 dollar a check cut you must make big bank, maybe you guys are over paid alittle.

Maybe should get a good education and dedicate 30+ years of yours and your family's life to National Security and then try and determine who is overpaid. Or be the size of an overgrown Sasquatch and try and squeeze in all the areas of an M1A1 Main Battle Tank that would be a tight fit for a Korean midget or even a spider monkey all the while spark chasing and trying to keep the weapon of war in the fight so that when some Islamic Zhithead that is trying to disrupt your Freedoms and Liberties simply because you don't believe the way he does steps into the gunners crosshairs said gunner can make said Zhithead disappear from the face of the earth when he squeezes the trigger.

That is only one of the many small simple tasks that I perform from day to day to make my "big bank" as you refer to it. I puts a roof over my family's head and some groceries on the table and allows for some recreation from time to time. I wouldn't consider it big bank but for the 7 or so years of being seperated from my wife and children over a 20 year career in the Marine Corps and then the hard azz job I have as a Civilian Marine I'll take it.

I don't know if Tim gets paid once a month or bi-weekly but regardless, $800 it a big hit. And I would not want his job any day of the week. Thanks for the tasks that you're performing Tim. Gotta be tough trying to keep the Homeland safe and being under appreciated at the same time.

  4. Well, look at it on the bright side, if we end up having to take the full 22 days off this fiscal year that is limited by law at least we will be in a lower tax bracket. Might even be a pay raise in the long run to drop down a level or two.

I'm not looking forward to the furloughs at all because the work load will not change. Same work with less time to accomplish the mission in.

    Gotta love the Gubment

  5. Remind me not to ask that group for thelp to.

So what's the story here Adam???

On a side note, with all of the beads off except for maybe the right front I am curious if under inflation may have played a role. I know there was some pretty heavy G forces going on with the tumbling but it may have been an under inflated left front that broke the bead, grabbed some serious sand when the wheel dug in, and then started the mayhem

I don't yet own a SXS but I've been doing hella studying and it seems like, at least over at RZRforums.net anyway, that there is nothing wrong with running in 4WD. I would think like was said before that the XP900 and the Wildcat probably have enough ponies that 4WD is not an issue. Wish I had one so I could give a little more than 2 cents.lol

  6. I'm sorry I don't care to put commas or periods I didn't know this was a place where all that needed to be done however you sure did understand what I wrote so here's one for you Vic see if you understand go fk yourself you have an issue with me you know what I look like I'm not hiding a-hole make fun of me in my face and see how tough you really are I'm not hiding like you come see a-hole

Jeezus! Calm down Beavis. Looks like some of that Sanchez ran down in to your mouth. I'm sure your mother must be proud of you son.

And yes this is a place where all of that needs to be done, it's called AMERICA. We used to not be lazyignorantazzes but lordy lordy looks like times have changed. Nobody was making fun of you, just pointing out that the "education system" is broken and turning out kids with no real skills to make it in the world. Or maybe it's a lack of home training. We used to take the time and effort to ensure that the rest of the world knew we weren't just another Zimbabwe.

Either way, nobody is hiding anything, everybody on here knows me and I can be found sitting around the campfire by my white truck and white toyhauler enjoying an adult beverage or out in the dunes with my DDR buds and gals. Swing on by for some Crown and Coke. And I whip up some mean azz Green Chili Pork, don't mind sharing with anybody.

Just leave your spider web and tear drop tattoos at home, we are a peaceful easy feeling kind of bunch. And speaking of bunch, undo your panties, it makes you more sociable.

  7. ^ That was the longest sentence I have ever read!

Still not a sentence, there is no period, comma, or anything so I'm thinking maybe it's to be continued! At least he capitalizes. Most folks coming out of the education system nowadays just hammer away at the keyboard with no capitalization, punctuation, or any grammar rules at all taken into consideration.

Now Bruce on the other hand uses punctuation but he has a crusty stuck up under his shift key.

Back on topic though, I just wish I had the opportunity this season to make it up to D to see what all of the fuss is about. If I had LEOs in my camp rummaging through my stuff at least that means I would be there to ride. See y'all down at Glamis Super Bowl weekend.

  8. Like Terry said, I would call and talk to a supervisor. But, I also would think that it could depend on the situation. I mean, how many of us have watched or participated in Veterans Day, Memorial Day, Christmas light parades, with countless utility trailers full of children and adults? My wife won election to City Council back in November and for the Christmas light parade we just had I pulled a utility trailer with past, present, and future City Council members and Mayors.

Common sense should prevail but I'm thinking they are going to say no es bueno.

  9. so does this pass include the holidays or the non holiday pass?

"It is a holiday blackout pass that is unused this year/season." Non, I try not to do Dumont for holidays if I can help it. I've seen some nasty stuff during the holidays over the years at Dumont and got involved in some on Presidents Day last year. Don't care to see anymore mayhem if I can avoid it. I'll stick to off weekends thanks.

If you were to get it and decide to go on a holiday weekend they will ask you for a $10 bill as you leave. Works out cheaper if you only plan on a holiday trip or two over the season pass that includes the five big weekends.

  10. Things haven't worked out the way I had hoped this season and it doesn't look like I'm going to be able to make it up to D in the forseeable future. Did two weeks up at Coral Pink, Little Sahara, and St. Anthony back around Labor Day then had to dump all remaining funds into my wife's campaign for City Council (she won). Still have several trips to Glamis coming up but it's just not working out where I'm going to be able to head north it seems. First time since 2004 that I haven't made multiple trips to Dumont. Gonna miss it.

Anyway, I'll cover the shipping to you. It is a holiday blackout pass that is unused this year/season. $90 via gift through paypal please.

Would make an awesome Christmas gift.

Thanks for helping a brother out.

  11. Being of the slightly older age bracket I don't get it but my children have been trying to get me to create an account. Ain't happenin' but I am wise enough to figure out that the OP made a mistake in posting his screen name. It's not ACTIO, it's ACTION, as in 619actionphoto.com. Nice site by the way Tim. :thumb:

C'mon Jim, Trixie could've pointed that out to ya, didn't take some ol' dumbazz country boy from Arkansas to realize it.. :dope::idiot:

  12. Just more trash dumped in the desert. Surprised they didn't set it afire before they left. Happens several times a year out here at Sunfair dry lake.

Damn, move out to the desert to get away from all of the trash in the city and then they start hauling up/out to the desert to dispose of it. Why not recycle???
