Here lies the problem. Sounds like everyone was doing the same thing: just sitting back looking at each other expecting something to happen. You can't expect people to come walking up and introduce themselves when you just sit there. Make a move and say hello to a complete stranger. I do it out there all the time. Only problem I have had with that is people who bring along their friends from camp who never even heard of DDR or a meet & greet. Kinda weird look on their face when you introduce yourself and then say your screen name.
I over read that they were kids. I would hope you wouldn't give a 12 yr old a beatdown. lol
As Marble MD said, did you talk to their parents? I'm wondering if they had something to do with it. That's some sh*t.
I hate hearing of these incidents. They are almost always avoidable with just a little extra caution taken. My condolences to the family and friends of the deceased. Rest in peace, fellow duner.
Good seeing everyone who came out to Al's services today. It was impossible to hold back the tears after seeing all the awesome photos of Al living life to the fullest. He was loved by so many people. He will forever be with us, especially at his favorite place in the world...Dumont.
Wash 14? China Wall? Vic, you're on the wrong website!
I'm hoping to make cleanup weekend as well. Hopefully we can hook up for one of those epic, long dune runs that weekend!
This is such awesome news, Andy. I've very happy for you guys. Jacob is great little guy. After meeting him and watching his antics that Sunday at the north pole, we knew you guys were blessed with such a cool little boy. He is a crackup.
Right on, Jared. I'll "like" it. haha What's the page called? "ATC 70's of Utah"?
You guys definitely dominated the regatta this year. You guys were FAST! Those little guys could ride too.
