  1. I heard approx 14 lbs on 91 octane.
  2. Hey there's a thought. But everybody isn't bitching about it and most of us DO do something about things we have a problem with at Dumont. I usually don't get that involved with responding to people bitching about stuff, but this time I felt it was necessary because the certain person bitching seems uneducated about the things they are bitching about and isn't making any valid points. I have a whole new respect (yes, even more than I already had) for the FoDD and TRT members that always chime in to respond to posts like these. It gets REAL old trying to explain things over and over. Here's to you Terry and Vicki. :xmas4:
  3. Nope, by the looks of it they actually installed them.
  4. non diesel place members will have no idea wtf you are talking about. You have to be logged in jagazz!
  5. Looks like I am going to be able to get that Monday off. Looks like Fri night tru Tues for me and monkie.
  6. Does it have anything to do with your space? Did your space get bashed? :argue:
  7. Oh I get it now. The stripper pole thread. :argue: I just read all the crap over there. It went from stripper poles, to redswr and his 2 tickets to the gun show, and then NASCAR started to get bashed. To tell you the truth that's the only thread where I saw anything get bashing. Oh yeah, and I guess Sand Saw wanted to contintue to bash the BLM because of the Dumont fee conspiracy. Go get some sand you guys! :argue:
  8. Who or what is getting bashed? and every topic gets run over bashing?? wtf? and to answer your question, NO.
  9. Yeah ok ESE, I was joking too except for the part of stop complaining. It gets old hearing everyone b*tch about things like this. Everyone says, they don't need to go to a TRT meeting. OK, maybe you don't. But what are you doing instead that is more effective other than bitching about things that you don't like about Dumont on the damn internet. You mom and dad were there showing their support and being educated like the rest of us on how things work behind the scenes. What were you doing? Were you typing up another rant on a public forum to help the situation? Not every place is the same. The expenses are different for each recreation area. You can't compare most places to Dumont. I'm starting to think you don't like Dumont enough to deal with whatever change is needed to keep the place staffed and maintained.
  10. Good, quit complaining and go there instead! :xmas7: Your comparing Valley of Fire to DUMONT? Let me put it this way- you get what you pay for.
  11. Dude, no way in hell would I put one of those whips on a 2 wheeler! They make your bike way too fast! You would be one crazy mofo if you put one on. Let me tell ya. :xmas7:
  12. I understand the road isn't really "finished". They are still waiting for a second batch of recycled asphalt from the I40 project. The BLM is first in line to get their hands son it. Once it is put down, it will be oiled then rolled. It will be better, but I wouldn't go as far to say it will be like concrete. It will still need maintenance from time to time.
  13. Oh wow, Lake Mead. woopitie dooooo. You forgot dead bodies, human waste, and record low water levels in that list of amentities. I can confirm that! BLM, "Jason, is there anything else you wanted to add in closing?" Jason, "ummmmmmm, nnnnno I don't think so. I think that's it." BLM, "ok, then thank y.." Jason, " :shout: well, actually yeah.....one more thing..." everyone at the TRT meeting, " :xmas7: "
  14. What Buick??? You gotta build it first before you talk smack! :xmas7:
  15. Hey Scott, will this be the first time back out the the dunes with the car since you went through it?
  16. Good point. I forgot about that method. Pauly Paul used to have his there too but broke them all the time because he'd lean the bike way down like a streetbike in the corners and the whip would snap. I guess you and I don't have that problem.
  17. Well, some good news. It didn't blow up on the dyno today. From what I heard, there was an issue with the intake manfold, but it did pretty damn good considering. I will leave it up to Ryan whether or not he wants to post the numbers up. Hopefully this weekend is still on for the shakedown. I may have my car ready by then for at least a day trip if you go out, Ryan. :porn:
  18. I don't think it's the whip. It's the mount that matters. I have a custom mount at the left rear of my seat on my YZ. I never break them. Does your mount flex at all allowing the whip to move back and forth more? Maybe trim down the whip just a tad too. That may help- there would be less leverage to break the whip.
