I'm wondering how empty Dumont is going to be this year for New Years. There's not even a thread about it yet. It's hasn't been a very busy one over the past few years. Anyone going out? A bunch of us are going to Glamis, otherwise I'd be there.

You can have plenty of power and still be reliable, but the Ecotec motors are a good alternative to a VW or even better, the Honda 3.5. I'd say Bus or 091 transmissions are ok as long as you are under 250/300 hp or so. The Hayabusa cars are very reliable too if you wanted to go that route. They are more like riding a 2 stroke though. Just keep an eye out. There are plenty of reasonably priced buggies for sale these days. If you have questions about some, post them up.

Nothing wrong with kicking back in the warm trailer! Enjoy. -
Awesome video, Tim. I LOVE that drone footage. The dunes and buggies look so cool from way up there.

Dump it in the fire! Probably not the most environmently safe, but it sure burns hot and is awesome to see.

I don't see any polarized lenses available for these, but I think the iridium lenses do just that. They are designed to cut glare. Might give them a try.

Hmm, Rocky Mtn doesn't list the blue for these goggles. They have all these fancy looking iridium lenses now. https://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/p/823/51186/Oakley-Mayhem-Pro-Replacement-Lens?c=1579

No better feeling that figuring it out on your own! haha Glad you got it handled man. Gotta love that sandcar maintenance.

I'm looking to replace my lenses on my Oakley Mayhem Sand goggles. I have always had one pair with clear and one pair with grey or tinted. I see so many options when buying replacements. Does anyone have a favorite for daytime that works well in most conditions like sunny AND overcast?

Got it pulled apart and rebuilt it yesterday. Didn't see any smoking gun, but one of the orings on the bridge must have started leaking. Guess we'll see next trip.

Thanks guys. I dumped all my pics plus some more that Amanda took in the gallery.
