Hey Sam it's all good. Misunderstandings, jokes, whatever...let's all raise our mugs now cause the Friday afternoon drama is over!
I'll be looking for you out there at the hill over Prez weekend. Keep an eye out for my truck. I just might have an ice cold refreshment for ya so we can shoot da chit. OK, mang?
Hey Sam, just to clafify, "Razor Back Hill"- is that considered Comp Hill to most Dumont goers?
and also...
that "please pickup your trash" banner for the 4 Stroke Wars event is in the works. The artwork has been dropped off and the banner is being worked on. I should have the banner sometime next week.
I don't know if I can do a whole weekend that weekend (3 back-to-back can get pretty pricey), but I'll do my best to be there one of the days on Saturday or Sunday. If for some reason I can't I'll make sure this banner gets to you or someone who is going out.
I have a question for some of you LS1 rail owners. Someone I know is working on an LS1 in a buggy and hooking up an Auto Meter oil pressure gauge. The thread size for the stock oil sender is not like an old small block size oil sender. It is much larger and uses a washer to seal against the block instead of the tapered threads like on the older ones.
My question is this...
What kind of adapter are you using for the Auto Meter sender?
and
Is your oil sender in the factory location oil pressure port at the top/rear of the motor?
I know there are some LS1 guys out there that might know...
In the summer months it can still get a little warm (in the 90's). The only time the campground sites get fully booked and the meadow (open camping area) gets crowded are Memorial Day and Labor Day weekend. The dunes don't ever get that congested though due to the smaller amount of visitors that go there compared to Dumont or Glamis.
Yep, that's pretty much what I said....
Once you start getting that many drunk people partying in one little spot many things can and usually will happen....fights, stabbings, drunk riding/driving, underage drinking, etc. It's sucks, but it's the truth. Some people just can't drink and have a good time without starting trouble.
I agree and understand, Glenn...BUT the Contest title is QUAD OF THE MONTH....not NICEST QUAD OF THE MONTH. It's completely up to the members of DDR to choose a bike that they think should be the quad of the month. It might not always be the nicest, fastest, or most $$ invetsed bike to win.
yep the Raptor and the YZ250. You have to go down a couple jet sizes for the high altitute.
I don't have to on the Raptor, but it tends to load up at times if I don't.
