  1. I have a question for some of you LS1 rail owners. Someone I know is working on an LS1 in a buggy and hooking up an Auto Meter oil pressure gauge. The thread size for the stock oil sender is not like an old small block size oil sender. It is much larger and uses a washer to seal against the block instead of the tapered threads like on the older ones. My question is this... What kind of adapter are you using for the Auto Meter sender? and Is your oil sender in the factory location oil pressure port at the top/rear of the motor? I know there are some LS1 guys out there that might know...
  2. In the summer months it can still get a little warm (in the 90's). The only time the campground sites get fully booked and the meadow (open camping area) gets crowded are Memorial Day and Labor Day weekend. The dunes don't ever get that congested though due to the smaller amount of visitors that go there compared to Dumont or Glamis.
  3. No...not really. I just don't have much news as of yet. DDR ride
  4. Yep, that's pretty much what I said.... Once you start getting that many drunk people partying in one little spot many things can and usually will happen....fights, stabbings, drunk riding/driving, underage drinking, etc. It's sucks, but it's the truth. Some people just can't drink and have a good time without starting trouble.
  5. ok cool, see you there then. That sounds good. BTW, I already have some pretty good dune pics if we need any.
  6. maybe it wasn't me...I thought I voted for her ...ahh whatever its over anyways
  7. I'm gonna start a thread soon enough.
  8. doh! I forgot you didn't have the sheet metal on your car yet. I understand now.
  9. Heck, man it's open to anyone on DDR.
  10. sheet metal? What was the issue last time w/ sheet metal? I thought it was an intercooler hose that was the trouble on the last ride?
  11. I agree and understand, Glenn...BUT the Contest title is QUAD OF THE MONTH....not NICEST QUAD OF THE MONTH. It's completely up to the members of DDR to choose a bike that they think should be the quad of the month. It might not always be the nicest, fastest, or most $$ invetsed bike to win.
  12. yep the Raptor and the YZ250. You have to go down a couple jet sizes for the high altitute. I don't have to on the Raptor, but it tends to load up at times if I don't.
  13. It's been longer than THAT! As for the forum we didn't have too many crickets last summer. The forum is always afloat. We don't go anywhere- we're all still here. Summertime for me is a handful of things.... -Coral Pink Dunes -usually do a trip or 2 to San Diego or somewwre in cali -Boating & partying at Lake Mead -a trip or 2 (hopefully more this summer ) to Havasu -chillen with some friends in the nice ice cold climate of a neighborhood bar
  14. no chit you are! That's a no brainer!
  15. I think a couple pics of some dunes at Dumont with "Dumont Dunes" etched somewhere above the image would be pretty cool to have for someone's living room. Hmm maybe even a DDR logo etched into one would be pretty sweet too!
  16. yep you figured it out. It's kM/h I thought the same thing when he said 140. I was like, wtf they don't have a speed limiter on a MALIBU??
  17. I completely agree. EXCEPT last time we sat there forever waiting for the buggies and nobody but JoeDuner took off in a buggy!
