So the day or 2 before I left for Dumont this last trip I went into this EXTEREMEly overpriced shop here in town on Gibson Rd. It was kinda my last ditch effort to pickup some heal gaurds for my Raptor. The guy (the owner) tells me he has a set but they were for use w/ nerf bars. He said they'd still bolt up to the pegs and probably the frame too. He says gimme 50 bucks and they're yours. I say ok, as long as they bolt up I don't care if the fenders don't bolt to them- I'll rig something up. So I say ok, give him 50 bucks (no reciept ), and I'm off. So I take them home. I took one of the factory ones off and noticed they didn't even come close. They don't even bolt up the the foot pegs. Today I brought them back to the dude. I say "remember these?" he says yeah. I say "well they don't even come close. I asked if he could order me some that DO fit, preferably the GYTR (Yamaha) ones. He insists he orders me some DG ones for like 140 bucks. I said, wtf the GYTR ones are 89.99 from the DEALER. He pretty much ignores me and says "well here's what I can do. I can give you a gift card for what I sold these to you. How much were they...20 bucks right?" I say "uhhh NO- 50 bucks. Tell ya what just give me 40 bucks back and we'll call it even." He says "since there was no receipt and how WE did that transaction, "THEY won't let us do it that way." WTF?? He's the owner! Who won't let him? So he writes me a gift card for 40 bucks, not 50 for what I paid. He says is that cool, I said "no not really I want my cash back."He says "you'll need something soon like a tire or tube or something right?" I finally gave up and said yeah whatever dude. I think I can by a quart or 2 of oil from that place for 40 bucks. They charge 7.00 for the SMALL Yamalube 2R bottles. They are EXTREMEly overpriced and don't know how to do business. Lesson learned: don't shop at a place you know sucks a$$ and is overpriced- even in times of desperate need. :ahhhhh:

God dammit..it doesn't get old. I just watched it again. In addition to the sounds Cole makes while gagging himself, you can hear me making burping throw up noises while I'm filming. Then I say..."Give er the onion!!! fkin do it!!" Dammit that was funny as hell. That kid was making those noises the whole way home when you and your mom were walking him across the street! :dance:

Yeah I hear ya. I've met lots of really cool peeps and riding buddies here on DDR. The best way to meet up is schedule a time and place (like the S Pole) and meet up, say wassup, and go for a ride. I hope I can make it out for that weekend.

So it seems everything has needed replacing or fixing that I own lately....sandrail, vacuum cleaner, ANOTHER toyhauler window , Raptor, etc tec. ...now it's our dryer. Anna & I want to buy a nice set, but are gonna wait until for important things are handled, like fixing the sandrail. So anyways, I ALWAYS hear of someone trying to get rid a washer and dryer. If anyone has a gas dryer they are trying to sell, please let me know.

That sh*t makes me laugh everytime I watch it. The part that makes me laugh is when he doesn't wanna move until he hears you gag and almost puke all over him.

Ahh...gotcha I just figured it was another post like "Where is the DDR camp?" as if EVERYONE from the site camped together. We stopped bringing the balloon out because our camp was just getting way too big and some of our friends (not on DDR) stopped camping w/ us for that reason. Everyone starting thinking our camp was the "DDR camp". Brice/sandseeker (the guy w/ the McFlurry) stopped bringing that out as well for very similar reasons. We have come to find that bigger isn't always better. Now that that is all cleared up.... I don't know if I will be able to make it out the weekend of the 20th, but if I do I'll be near bathroom #6 along the finger dune. I'll keep ya posted.

Who is "they"? There are many camps (spots) where everyone from the site camp at. There isn't one camp for the (DDR) website. We've been over this before.
