  1. Ok so for those that are new, we all try to get as meny people from the board to meet up every big weekend at Dumont and go for a dune ride. We have had 3 DDR meet up rides so far and they were all fun and were a great chance to meet everybody from DDR in person. Don29palms mentioned to me last trip that we should maybe have a separate DDR ride just for buggies. I think we should do a DDR ride where everybody meets up (buggies, bikes, quads, etc), then another ride (earlier or later in the weekend) to get all the buggies together for a DDR buggy run. What does everybody else think?
  2. Yeah he told me the same thing- paying $$CASH$$!!!! Dayyuumm!
  3. LMFAO!!! ^^^ That's some funny shiat! Chuck, for the record Kenny's name is rhinoking remember? Not duneking. He doesn't actually dune at the dunes. He just cruises around on the flats and comp in that painted up Rhino of his. He couldn't be king of the dunes, this is why he picked rhinoking. I love givin Kenny sh*t!
  4. These cars have around 21" of travel in the front and 18" in the rear. Yes, no comparison in car as a whole though. As much as I like the Busa minirails, yeah I 'd have to go w/ the Tatum for 65 or 70K (like I said). But when it comes to the hill and the power to weight ratio- these minirails have a strong advantage. They weigh about 750-800 lbs and this one is putting down 360 to the rear wheels. That is a huge power/ weight advantage for the hill at least. As much as the mini rails handle so well, they do lack weight and wheelbase that the fullsize cars have. That is a huge benefit in the whoops especially. I guess you can't really compare the two. Its like comparing a two wheeler (dirtbike) to a quad. They are actually two different machines. That SSC minirail would do better at some things and the Tatum would do better at others. Whatever. I don't have the cash for either one, so I shouldn't even be discussing this.
  5. Yeah I hear ya. However, this thing would spank that Tatum on the hill or through the dunes. I know what your saying though, Trav. I think I'd rather have a full size (Tatum) for the money. :headbang:

  15. I think this lastest craze w/ all these 450 kiddie bikes has put the Raptor in less demand. I personally like my Raptor over the 450 more because of the Raptor's weight and size. I think it handles better, but it could be because I am 6ft 2" and I fit better on a Raptor. I myself would love one of those new Raptor 700's. No quad will ever handle and take whoops and jumps like my 2 wheeler though. Many new features caught my eye: FUEL INJECTION for one, new dash light display, led tailight, longer seat, etc. Hell of a nice quad made even better than the previous Raptor.
  16. ooops, I'm sorry. I don't even remember that.
  17. Last night was alot of fun. We almost set Doug's backyard ablaze. I think we all started to think we were at Dumont after a while with that fire! The party definitley got a wee bit crazy. I'll get some pics up soon. Sorry, but some of the pics can't be shown. Thanks to Doug & Kayle for all the good eats
  18. You're just jealous, Dave. Besides, it was at the very end of the night when that pic was taken. That's the only way to end a party night.
  19. Sweet, Dave! I didn't know you had those. Got any more of us?
  20. right, molded. Kings Tire makes it. They have been out for at least a few years.
  21. Gotta work those days. I'll be comin back home on the 1st.
  22. That's right. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!
  23. The 450 might run ok with a 10 cup, but I still think an 8 would be best on that bike as well. I'm guessing on the 450 though. The 426, however, I speak from experience.
