  8. Two things this post is useless without pictures, that being said can you deliver to Henderson????
  9. Put the first one in backwards and stand it up, then nose in the second one. you will have to run with your tailgate down but that shouldnt be a problem. You then can even go as far as putting one dirt bike on each side above the wheel well. Just remember use good rachet straps.
  10. Hey dont be going an calling that doctors office/vet clinic/quick care a hospital. People might get the wrong idea, that there are actually qualified doctors in Pahrump.
  11. Widen the front beam and lengthen the trailing arms, you then can go with a fox 2.5 coil over with remote res. and you'll get 12-16" of travel, and its smooth. In the back swap out the tranny and then get the coil over conversion. Dump the torsions. Pacific customs in Cali. you pretty much get everything overnight since they are close, they are cheaper than most and dont mind taking the time to answer questions over the phone. Also Summit racing for springs and such QA1 springs are about half the price of ebaich and just as good.
  12. Just go get one a checker that would work for you since I doubt you have fundage to get a dual sport car. Do you even have a drivers license?
  13. I know how it is to want to build your own, but right now you can find a good rail for a lot less than you can build it. I should know I just finished my first. Expect to spend around 10k to build a fairly good mid travel beam car. Suspension being the key. Spend the money for the good coil overs, Fox. Get suspension seats, wider beam for coil overs, swap the tranny to IRS and get rid of the rear torsions for coil overs. Pretty much scrap all of the stock VW stuff. Then you need a good engine. You can get some stuff from Phil at the Doghouse, Butchs speed shop, Pacific customs in cali is really good for off road stuff. If you want some more info let me know. Another big thing is to keep it light. You'll want to run aluminum wheels and beef up that cage.
  14. I love it the feds want to spend money they dont have, if there going to do this might a well pave the road in and put in 10,000 full hookup sites and a 500 room hotel. That actually makes more sense than a fence around the place. Just give it a few years when it all comes crashing down and they have to cut the BLM and rangers due to the fact the country has no money and we'll get our dunes back. Cause who will be there to tell us we cant. The sand all across the country will be ours again... and at this rate it will be soon.
  15. Nothing puts the Sin in sin city than a quick trip over to pahrump and to the world famous chicken ranch or Sherries for a little tour. They even have a resturant and spa down there too.
  16. All we need is some common sense out there. If you use your head and realize that a rail is bigger than a bike or a quad and will win and probably really fup or kill a rider and watch out for them everything will be ok.
  17. Dont use cones use some metal rebar or fence posts. It will stop them.
  18. So if all that is true and he is a citizen of another country can you say President Arnold. The presedent will have been set and our constitution will have to be changed. Hello Demolition Man, what will be next all the resturants will be Taco Bell too. Help us all.....
  19. Just remember to escape the undead drink lots of beer and run naked through your neighbors camps with only your helmet and riding boots.
  20. I dont know how you can call it a "donation" all that money that any politition recives is tanted. There is always a favor here or there to pay back the contribution. Plus He is a lawyer the last thing we need is more lawyers in power they have screwed things up from the get go, look at glamis for instance. I dont know how any off road enthusiast can in there right mind support a Democrat look at the Center for Biological diversity and the Sierra club just a bunch of rich spoiled Liberals with nothing better to do than cut of our acces to our lands. Who really wants to hike or ride horses on a sand dune. Plus we have a built in Zamboni called the wind, a little of it and you cant even tell we were there. I hope I am wrong but I can't vote for a guy who dosnt support his country and recites the pledge of allegance. Thats my 2 cents
  21. you have my vote, I try and always take more home than what I brought. Over the years I have picked up chairs, easyups, carpet, you name it oh yah even a tv. The one thing that kills me is that it just gives the tree hugging hippies more ammo against us to get our dunes shut down. People just kill me, imagine what ther homes must look like if they camp like this.
  22. I found out something interesting this weekend. We have sot someone taking advantage of us out there. $10 sparkplugs and $30 radiator caps just to name a few. I know its a huge benifit to be abe to get parts and what not at vendor row, but we shouldnt be taken advantage of. The only thing that I know is that Phil at the Doghouse has been at the dunes for years and runs a fair business and will always have mine. Its a free country and you can pay for overpriced things if you want just make sure you check all of the vendors and just not the guy in the beat up looking trailer. We need vendors dont get me wrong just not ones that are ripping us off. Whats next $100 whips just because..........
  23. They are great TV's weve got one at home and one at work. Just remeber if the bulb goes out and it will you can find them for about $100 on Ebay or if you have to you can get them straight from Samsung for cheaper than a retailer will sell them to you for. They should last 3-5 years depending on how much you use them.
