Might as well go here. Loud exhaust in the dunes and running Banshi Hill or Comp Hill are one thing but the camping area gets pretty crowed on busy weekends. Lots of riders are young and don't think anything about all the other people. They crack their pipes for no reason other than trying to sound cool and try and make people think their ride is rat fast. Late night and early mornings are the worst and it seems that's when most of the rookie riders or unsupervised kids do their thing. You'll see the idiots that create "worms" on the flats, spin arround and raise dust and speed too close to camps. "Other that that Mr Linclon, how was the performance"? Yea I am old and grumpy as some on here will tell you but I tend to say what I am thinking. Welcome to the site and enjoy it and the dunes!

fishing with the kids at lake mead....where too go?
sandawg replied to goodguys75's topic in General Chat
Depends what you want to fish for. They stock Trout down at Willow beach and there is a nice picnic area there. If you want to try for stripers then any cove at the north shore road or south shore road might work. I used to fish for stripers in Echo Bay by the campground but I doubt if that is even there since the water has gone down so far. I think that Willow beach is your best bet. You can take the kids to the hatchery too to see that. It's right there north of the store. If you don't mind a little drive Cotton Wood cove outside of Searchlight is cool and the water is always at the same level and close to some nice stripers. enjoy, Pat -

Terry, You pay and I'll hand feed you Crip! -
Hey Randy, I'm not going to get sloppy here but I think you are awsome. Yes there might be others that may go to the level you did to get these people their rail back but for a kid that rode the short yellow bus to school when you were younger ..... this is awsome. Good job! I hope to meet up with you and the family again! "That's a fact Jack!" Pat

What a shame.....200 views and only a hand full of votes! What's up?

This is such B.S. When I lived in California in the 70's Gov. Jerry Brown, known as "Brown Rot" took off road funds and built a bike path from the richest neighborhood along the American river to the area close to the Capital. History repeating itself again........ I can't believe tha the people of California re-elected him. Some people need to study their States history before they vote. Sorry folks but the best thing I ever did was to move out of California in the early 80's and watch California vote in all these liberal a$$*holes that have taken California down the tubes..........I'm sorry that the weather is so good and people choose to live there!

Suggestions for the next DDR meet & eat (Las Vegas)
sandawg replied to dunefreak's topic in General Chat
I haven't ben there for nearly 20 years but the square pizza at the 3 kegs was fantastic. It is centrally located for the entire town. Theyl have other featured stuff too. An old town, localy owned. If I was sure I'd be able to go that would be my choice! -
I will sell these new and still in box from CB Performance 92 MM brand new Mahle Barrels and New Cima forged pistons and Rings. I will take a loss and sell for $350 for all. This is well below what I paid for them and dosen''t reflect the frieght. I decided to go with a different size and need to sell these in order to get the others. I can deliver in the Vegas area for free or if out of town in Calif. Utah or Arizona will pay the frieght for UPS ground. Probably another $25 or so loss on my part. PM me for any questions or information if your interested. Thanks, Pat

Suggestions for the next DDR meet & eat (Las Vegas)

The old, fat ugly East European Nurse that he will get would only find it and drink it between sponge baths she gives him with 60 grit sandpaper! -
Not shutting Paul down. Glad he came here looking far help. It's the producer that has panty's that are to tight and won't let him reach into his wallet to bring some interest to his project!!! And to your comment of being grumpy and broke, your sooooooo right!!!! And your point is??????? And you forgot OLD!!!!

Ideas to kepp this place alive during the summer (Cali peeps)
sandawg replied to CampIdiot's topic in General Chat
I would pay big bucks NOT to see my wife in a bikini!! -
Wow! Who would be playing around in the sand. Sounds to me like you would be at the beck and call of the producer to enhance his walet at the cost of people going out in the off season footing about $500 dollars. Can't agree with you Pete! Rocket said the same thing to me. He couldn't afford $500 to drive from Orange County in the hopes that he gets on TV......Not worth it. Not enough free cold beer and chow to make it worth it. Give him hell Terry!!!
-
Bob "Rocket" would have come if the producer wan't so cheap. I would have come for free with the Rhino to give them at least one spectator Terry. You're fun to watch......hidden meaning! :lol:Too bad Paul, I hope you get something for all your work and expenses!

Thanks Krusty, I started to suspect it was a fluid pressure issue. Sounds like it's time to head to the Ford garage. Yep it's an 03 F250 w/ 4 speed auto w/overdrive. I smell lots of money to repair or rebuild it! :surrender:

Is that a "sexist " statement Stace???

I will be doing some honey doo's that I avoided during the last several dune seasons. Between Idaho, Oregon and Dumont I have really neglected some things on our 25 year old home. This depends on how long it takes me to get the rail ready for some duning. Motor needs work, shifter needs fine adjustments. Who knows it may be next year when I do what I'm suppose to..........At my age, who needs sex, meals cooked, laundry done, and all those other things wives are suppose to do while we play?????
