Fullerton Sand Sports is cheaper on the skat traks than skat trak itself is i have them on my ds650, and I run 8 are you sure you need the extremes? I have them due to the sheer weight of my quad the haulers might be more suited for your quad, imo

my boxes ended up working great with the golf cart batteries from costco!!!

do you know what kind of sand tires it had??? finding the right kind of paddles can be an expensive crapshoot. one guy i know, he runs a sand tires unlimited kind, and says they are pretty good.

if that were me, I woulda handed that biotch nurse a nice hot cup of SHUT THE EFFE UP!! back a few years ago, when the lakers were playing in the nba finals against philly, I stepped on a rake while gardening, and had to go to the ER the friggin nurses were all huddled around a TV in the break room, which was surrounded by glass, so the patients in their rooms could see in. I was there for 3 hours to get a freekin tetnus shot!! I got pissed, and fired off a letter to the hospital directors -
it is always with regret that I respond to a post like this. It is unfortunate, and my condolences go out to the friends and family of Terry... I am very sorry for your loss.

well, i can't dune like a rail, but I can dune pretty good with my ranger. don't get me wrong, I am not knocking the Sammy's, I had some good times in one during high school....almost 20 yrs ago now there are plenty of after market parts for them too, which makes them a good budget build. Sure, you can go high dollar in them, and you can also keep the cost down...it is entirely what the owner wants to do with them.

WW was having the same problem about a year ago too. our friends pump went out over thanksgiving last year @ pismo, and the guys from bakersfield @ venture out sent a service tech 150 miles, onto the beach, install in the sand, and all was good. plus, we got him all liquored up, and sent him on his way

my ranger won't fit in the back of my truck.... I have to trailer it. btw @ four wheel parts in Fresno Ca, they had a Sammy that was all tricked out for sand play. the owner claimed to have dumped over 20 grand into it...........stereo, paint, interior, plus all the mods u listed ISBB, and a bunch more. I see what you are saying about the 6-7 grand into a capable sammy, but, the thing is what, 10 yrs old....and suzuki autos aren't known for being the MOST reliable.....
-
for less than 10 grand??? lift kit motor mods tranny mods wheels and tires frame mods it starts adding up.....unless he did all the work himself, and shlepped on the parts, I can see it. btw, rhino's in LA county are going for 10,200 otd

exactly. It is what our society has turned into, I'm stupid, so what's in it for me????? edited for inappropriate content

Suzuki Z250 quad vs Honda 250 quad
Richard Cheese replied to Ross and Alice's topic in ATV / Motorcycle Talk
how old is your son? what is his riding level? the engine and shaft drive of the honda is pretty bullet proof on the 250 -
there are several people who have tricked out samauri's and they are definitely dunable, but not in stock form. plus, there are a ton of mods that have to be done to the frame, suspension, wheels and tires, engine, tranny.. rollcage, harnesses, electrical......... then, you are talking WAY more than a stock rhino.
-
I have. it is not nearly as stable, in stock form, as my ranger......not to say my ranger is on rails or anything
-
granted, I bought my trailer 2.5 yrs ago, but a PDI wasnt one of the things I paid for. Don, you might wanna ask for that money back Nice rig RRC!!! (i did that to not hijack the thread)

Who knew Jeeps could be so much fun in the dunes?
Richard Cheese replied to PetesZ400's topic in Truck, Jeep, & Car talk
a small block 350 VS a 660cc????? Vegas wouldn't even put a line on that one -
pure speculation here I don't think anything will be done with the rhino until the class-action lawsuit is finished. They had the opportunity to improve it this year with the 700 efi, but NOOOOOOOOOOOOO. They probably don't want to improve on the current design, as that might be an admittance to sub-par design???

I am currently going down the road you have been on. started with a tahoe and atv trailer, upgraded to a 19 foot toyhauler, then upgraded to a dura/alli 4x4. since I got my family involved in the sport, the number of toys has grown, and we are currently maxed out in storage in our 19....but with a ranger, and 2 quads, and 3 people in our family......i cant see the number of toys growing any time soon. I am sure that everyone who has 20/20 hindsight would have started with a diesel and a huge trailer, but, in reality, they are just getting into the sport, and not quite sure if they are gonna do it forever or not. I think they are sensibly thinking about this, since they did post this thread to begin with. they will be fine with a half ton, and a smaller trailer. imo

niiiiiiiiiiiiice rig. don, your fuel station didn't work??? you paid someone to do a pdi???

my brother used to work @ Sonic back in the late 80's early 90's, and helped open several stores in the so-cal area, especially east la, and the IE. Imbibe means to take in(drink) -
