  1. Crazy, I heard the news saying that there is still a bunch of cars under the concrete in the water.
  2. Reminds me of a funny little story, about 3 or 4 years ago, me, my wife, my sister and Chuck (CRD450) went to a Blink182 and No Doubt concert at the Blockbuster/Hyundai/Whatever the hell Pavillion in Devore. We knew it was going to be packed, but the tickets were free and it's only about a 20 minute drive from our place. Anyways, we get there, get decent parking because we went about 3 hours before it started to tailgate and get sauced before we had to pay $100 for a beer. We left about half way through No Doubt's set to beat the traffic, little did we know the parking lot was literally that, a friggin parking lot. Couldn't get in, couldn't get out, just a stand still. Chuck was driving and decided to start a horn blowing war with all the other people sitting there like idiots, next thing we know there is about 100 cars going full blast on the horns, a cop comes running up to the truck and is bright red fuggin pissed at Chuck and starts yelling at him, "Look what you started you idiot!!!"" Never heard or seen a cop get so pissed, a real cop, not a parking lot cop. It was great.
  3. Tried watching it, but like everyone else said, wasn't into it. Destroying stuff isn't really my cup of tea, especially when they do it to other people's stuff.
  4. I dig the new stuff, I saw them about 5 years ago or so right before they got huge ath the Dragon Fest here in CA. They sound great live, probably one of the best I have seen.
  5. Congrats!! Time to start shopping for a little quad.
  6. When I was in high school, we did a lot of desert parties. Basically bring your own crap, party all night, have a huge fire (caught a hill on fire once) and wake up and go home. Always fun, we would go out to "Honda Valley" as it is called, where we would have the party you needed at least a truck or a crappy car you didn't mind jumping. Fun times, always had to pull out a few cars that would get stuck, high centered, etc.
  7. Is that Pete on that thing???
  8. It's only cool if they sell 40 oz. of Duff beer, haha.
  9. I am pretty sure I'll be there, have to wait until the time is a little closer to know for sure.
  10. There is a bunch of good upholstery shops in Pomona that do all kinds of custom stuff, pretty sure the top will be an easy job for them. Not sure about numbers for the places, just check on the internet.
  11. Your cart sounded insane, we saw you pull up and just thought it was a regualr ol' golf cart. Next thing we know we hear that thing and all did a neck crank over to see what the hell it was, looked and sounded cool as hell. Hope you get it dialed in.
  12. I'm pretty sure it was a red rail, but it wasn't the Bud Light Funco, I would have remembered that one for sure. I think what happened was the guy in the rail was going up and pulled a wheelie, came down and was right there next to about 3 or 4 quads going up at the same time, a little too close for comfort when you are on a quad. Wasn't intentional, but the guy on the quad sprayed a nice roost on the rail, so who knows. All I know was I had a great time, my Wife had a blast, Chuck (CRD450) and his wife were out with us, our buddy Mike D, Mike (Northphelan) and his crew. Had a blast, rode the hill, did a nice midnight ride, drank some beers, got up and did a beat the heat ride and headed home. I'm thinking we might just have to do it again this summer?????
  13. Yeah, pretty sure it was a red quad. He roosted whoever was in the red rail pretty good for a thank you for making me crap my pants close call. I pulled up right next to you at the bottom of the hill, then you hit the the rocket boosters and were gone. Anyone see that golf cart on steroids?? Don't know what the hell that dude had in it for a motor, but it sounded pretty healthy.
  14. Good times man, we had some great rides. Kinda scary on the hill with the dudes with no lights, couple of close calls but nothing real bad. We did a 1AM run out to the North Pole, fun times. The wind on Saturday night was crazy. Pete, your rail is fast, I watchd you spank a bunch of people. Also saw the rail and quad incident, quad almost got clipped by the rail, quad roosts rail, rail chases quad. I guess it was all in fun, can't wait to do it again.
  15. May try and get a morning ride in with you guys, just depends on how much beer my friends "force" me to drink the night before.
  16. Looking really good so far, what color plastics are you going to run?
  17. Man, I can't wait. Looks like a nice crew from DDR will be there.
  18. Glamis gets a bad rap because most people go on big weekends, hence, the crowd is huge, crazier and more beer fueled. When you get that amount of people in the space provided, you are bound to have a bad feeling of the place. It's fun to go there, but for me, Dumont is the prime dune spot.
  19. I have one, Sobe Bombs are to be only handled and set off by trained professionals, and first rule of DDR, don't talk about Sobe Bombs. Oh wait...my bad.
  20. Tell you what, get enough beer in me and I'll be putting on some cowboy boots and doing Garth Brooks karoake, haha :whacky101:
  21. My opinion, all about the $$$, but the Banshee has what seems like unlimited aftermarket and go fast parts, from stock bore stuff to crazy big bore stuff. I would say with the market, you can make a Banshee faster, but there is always somebody faster...

    UFC 71

Alright, I gotta chime in. Rampage will always have Chuck's number, just like Chuck will always have Tito's number. Just the styles don't match up well. Like someone said earlier, Dan Henderson is a great addition to the UFC, great wrestler with wicked punching power in both hands. Rampage Jackson vs. Dan Henderson is going to be an exciting fight. With UFC (Ther Fertittas Brothers that is) buying Pride, I'm looking forward to seeing some great super fights between the best fighters in the world. I've been a fan since the very first UFC, and I am digging the evolution of the sport.
  23. Garth Brooks, Friends in Low Places. Come on, you all know you've been wasted singing along to that one.
  24. Social Distortion, that's drinking music!
