It's hitting the vertical tube (at the red arrow) in the middle of the tube, and on the tie rod (at the green arrow). Both are getting bent up fairly good on both sides. The tie rod is fairly centered going through the webbing. I could rotate the box up some, but I don't see how that will help.....and since both sides are hitting I don't think moving the box horizontally would help either.....but you could be seeing something that this newbie is missing.... I don't have a better picture with me at this time......what kind of picture angle are you looking for?

I am looking into going with a rack and pinion steering with the standard travel beam rail. I am tired of having killer steering in one direction only and the tie rods hitting the webbing in the frame. Does anyone have any recommendations? Manufacturer choice? Warnings? Help a new guy out with some experience......

We had a great time...and thanks to everyone for keeping it real (crazy or not). It was nice to meet everyone. I'm not going to attempt to name them all since there were so many....and it's still only Monday morning. -_- I'm sure I'll miss a few names. Saturday night was a blast ....and the UFO sighting....well I'm just trying to forget that part. but it sure was hilarious. I couldn't stop laughing. The potluck was killer (great chilli Ken) and the movie bumped it up a notch for us. Shery (the wife) is still talking about jumping in Original Pimp's car!!! Thanks again dude...that's gonna help me get one sooner, I hope.
