  1. That is pretty good stuff right there! I expect to see you do the feeding show at the Silverton with Anna next time I make my way back!
  2. Yo Nick happy birthday you old fart! :bday:
  3. Unfortunately this has been a tight month for me. Been trying to crunch the numbers to make it work but I don't think I'll be able to pull it off. Sorry guys I won't be able to make it. I'm bummed!
  4. I've had skat traks on mine for 3 years without a single problem. I know a lot of the other guys on here run skat traks as well with equal success as myself.
  5. Im still in love with what I currently have. I love that damn quad! I'd like to get a rail some day but then I'd have to get a hauler and a bigger truck as well. Some day it will happen though.
  6. Is St. Anthony a place that you would only visit during the summer months? Meaning is it to cold to ride during the winter months (snow)??
  7. I was wondering when this thread would come up. Last few weeks I have been spending considerable time at the pool while cooking some good food on the grill. :cocktail: Been gearing up my rifle and other guns for the soon to be "zombie apocalypse" and doing lots of shooting at the various gun ranges here in town. Good thing is that next weekend is my family reunion and being that it's in Koosharem Utah (high of 80 degrees) I will actually get to do some riding in one of my favorite spots. It is so beautiful up there and I have not been in over a year so I'm looking for to it. You all should look into going there during the summer months. Other than that the summer has been mild so far considering we have not hit 110 temps yet otherwise I would be one very angry person right now. :pissed: Summer is my least favorite time of the year. My job requires that I have to get up in attics during the peak hours of the day and when temps are 110+ outside that means it reaches about 150 in the attic. Besides Vegas winters are perfect and very comfortable to me. Looking forward to dune season obviously and I have to admit that it seems to approach pretty darn fast every summer.
  8. I've heard just throwing in a hot cam will wake any bike up. My buddy keeps trying to talk me into throwing one in my raptor but I'm scared it will make a already reliable bike unreliable. Let me know how yours works after you do it.
  9. I saw one of the comments on youtube was "a soccer player would have been down for days" and I couldn't agree more.
  10. Phew!! I was hoping you would know the answer to that Nick...
  11. Son of a beyotch hurt bad!
  12. I was expecting the road to be pretty bad as well but I was doing 50 MPH on it and it seemed pretty tame to me in my little Nissan Frontier...
  13. It sure felt like we covered every square inch of that place.
  14. "Devil bug"?? Do you mean bees?? Cause if so then I know exactly what your talking about!
  15. Good pics as always Pete. Man those dunes looked smooth!
  16. Get that darn DS of yours up and running! Or just borrow Cheese's again.
  17. You guys all missed a good time if you didn't show up. We met up at the last gas station before Potosi and got into Dumont about 6:15 AM Those dunes looked beautiful with the sunrise coming over the top of them. We unloaded quickly and started up the bikes and cruised out. By 6:30 we were shredding some sand. The dunes were untouched and technical. Combined with both sharp razors and soft sand we kept it slower than normal. Had to be careful as there were some nasty drop offs that couldn't be seen until you were right on top of them. We rode out to the parked for about 1 minute to catch our breath then headed back the other direction. While getting some pics of Pete jumping his bike I noticed that his bike had gotten a whole lot louder for some reason. It was then that Pete noticed that the can from his pipe had fallen off into the sand. He put it back on and we headed back to the truck where he rigged it up with a cargo strap. So out we headed for a couple of more runs through the sand. As the day was getting later we really had to tame it down because the sun was extremely bright and made it very difficult to see. There were a couple of times I was glad that Pete was leading cause I couldn't see a damn thing. :ahhhhh: About 10:30 or 11:00 AM duners started showing up for the night drags. We went on one more run and then packed it up and headed home. It was a great sand fix and I hope it will last until the start of next season. Pete has some pics on his camera's and I'm sure he will be loading them up very soon.
  18. I'm off to bed! Gotta get up early to do some riding. Yiah!!
  19. I really need to move closer on to that side of town. I could really use a cold glass of beer right now.
  20. My truck is loaded and I got fuel in the tanks and I'm pumped to ride!!
  21. :whoop: Gonna be hot but need a sand fix!
  22. Thought I would post this being that it's Memorial day and all. Take 8 minutes out of your day and watch our troops in action. They make us proud! Troops in action
