  1. I like the eat and greet idea, hump day (Wednesday) is kinda a mid week time that would work?
  2. Nice pics and report. Damn work made it impossible to go otherwise I would have been there.
  3. Sounds fun but in all seriousness I can't say I recommend the brandishing of any weapons. Not unless you want to spend some serious time behind bars.
  4. Adam I lived in N.Las Vegas in a brand new neighborhood for years. My thoughts on N. Las Vegas are simple; you can polish crap all day long but in the end you still have crap! I absolutely hate NLV, it shouldnt even exist, it's below sea level and if it weren't for an inflated market and the boom the new neighborhoods wouldn't even be around. For Christ sakes there is a pig farm and a Nevada Pick A Part in the middle of it all. Move out of the sticks!
  5. I'll be making it out. Quad is ready to go!
  6. Not true. My friend had a 357 this weekend that was failure to fire for many rounds. I use stuff called grease called frog lube. Oil eventually runs out if the gun. A little grease goes a long way. Clean it, grease it and you don't have to worry about it anymore. Use TLC Break free to break all the carbon down and then apply grease.
  7. That is what I was thinking.. Thought he would sell it for sure after our last trip. I'm sure it will rip!
  8. Looking at the weather report and both this weekend and next look good so far. Although the 10 day isn't always the most accurate.
  9. Sounds like he would have himself a real busy year if he was willing to sit down with everyone personally that he has screwed over. With a reputation like that it might be best to leave town and just start over all together. You can change the name and location but in the end the leadership is still the same. I saw this happen a lot in the construction industry during the recession. All of the terrible subcontractors that didn't belong in the industry went under, changed names, but still provided the same service as the last company name they went by. In the end they went away all together. Sometimes you only get one chance to do things right and if not it can have an adverse effect on your reputation for a very long time.
  10. I hear it's a fun festival and seems like a lot of dedicated, loyal fans go every year. If I was a bigger fan I would go myself. I love a good concert.
  11. Im beginning to think that it pays off to get there early as possible for the day trips. It kinda takes it out of you but in the end it pays off because you really get all the riding in you can possibly handle. I had such a good time this trip. I was really looking forward to this all week and it was nice to see everyone again at my favorite place in the world. Its the one place where I truly can not think about all the stresses in my life and just enjoy the scenery and good runs out in the sand. I can't wait to do it again in the near future. Thanks Pete for driving, thanks Vic and your friend for getting my tire up and running so I could get back to camp and thanks all who came. Eddie and Adam it was good to meet you guys and hope to do some riding with you all again soon. Chris, welcome back and good to see you again! When we going next???
  12. Ok, so the more I keep thinking about this the more I'm itching to ride. I know some are unable to make it out next weekend but I'm game for this weekend. What's everyone else's thoughts? We thinking of getting there early? I like to get out there pretty early if possible. I know not everyone can do that.
  13. Let's do it every other Saturday until its to hot to ride starting next Saturday??
  14. Looks like another successfull Regatta! Good job to all those who worked hard to make it happen!
  15. Jesus Christ!! Don't bring that thing to the Regatta, it's to damn pretty to drive!!
  16. Good point, and it cost probably more than hundreds of thousands of dollars. I would guess millions! Land development is one of the largest costs in any part of construction. Utilities, grading, and the movement of dirt is outrageous in cost. Considering it was a city or government contract it was probably way over bid anyways with +100% proffit margins. Bummer about one of your favorite local riding areas Pete.
  17. No I haven't really sold anything on either forum. It's a good website when I'm looking into maintenance issues and such. I kinda over do the maintenance on my bike but I enjoy doing it.
