    Think I remember seeing his post when he first got it YNOT. I really do enjoy my vw sand rail but Im still on the fence. This year seems to be dominated by can am who knows what will be out next.

    First and foremost I hope I am posting on the correct area for this... but I am starting to serious look at sxs. My good friend and I both have vw sandrails that we built and they are a blast. However, its just the vw curse that every time we go out something breaks. SO here is my question to all you folks....What is the best value as far as performance and cost out there for a SxS? Everything just seems so expensive for something that imo is a bit underpowered... THanks !

    As long as you air it out a bit when you first get there, your good to go! I usually crack a window on both sides and let it air out while I unload and get camp set up. Even with a fuel station and gas cans I never have a fuel smell.

    Mounting brackets to hold tribal whips in the hauler when not in use?? The top part of the hook has a bevel on it for something to snap into.. thats my guess !

    Without a warrant LE is a no go in my trailer. Its a simple as that. I don't have anything to hide and I usually abide by the laws. "Blown572" I'm sure we all have grief over stuff the BLM does and doesn't do. But with 4 posts here and just a handful of views why do you wait until now to bring this up? DDR is one of the most if not the most RELAXED/CHILL website forums there is. Please don't come here to stir crap up. Most importantly don't quit duning !

    Thanks for the input. I know their are soft sided coolers that are awesome, However I always manage to squish stuff when Its in a soft one. It takes a good 4x4 to get to most places we work.

    Ok so I picked up a rubbermaid 10quart cooler for use at work, I bought it at walmart a while back and its a POS. The lid doesn't seem to be insulated at all and my food doesn't stay cold. Im looking for a nice size hard sided lunch box, that will keep my food cold. What do you guys use ? Just figured I would ask since a lot of people carry some type of cooler in their rail/buggy. Seems that every thing I find is junk these days. Thanks for the input and sorry for the random post !

    Im sure it can be done. Most of the regulars are out in the sand this weekend. Maybe you can get a better answer later on this week. Sucks to hear about people calling the cops just for riding though.
