Lets get your concerns into letter and get it submitted. This is just the 1st 9 miles of fence out of a total of 20 miles. Straight from the grant application: C. Size of Project Site This is the first phase of a fencing project that will encompass the entire outer boundary of the dune recreation area. The recreation area contains about 10,000 acres designated for intensive OHV recreation use. Towering piles of sand cover most of the acreage. The first phase of fencing will cover 9 miles, out of a total of 20 miles of fence to build.

Just to go ahead and get this out there, the next meeting will be May 5th, 2009 at 10am, Barstow Field Office. If you can make it out, please attend, if not, post up some questions you want answers to and I'll take them with me. Think I posted a ride report on Jawbone Canyon a couple years ago. It was pretty cool..... Alot of hiking at Silverwood lake and Big Bear as well. You'll have to get down this way this summer....

Good times, Good times once again. Had a great chill weekend. Just want to THANK everyone that came out to clean up, got alot of trash out of D. Those cans were about half full each. Alot of people asked about maybe next year being a little longer, alot wanted to head out and clean up more, and some did. Thanks alot to all, you all did some work out there for sure... No problem Brutha, anytime...Thanks for the brauts, they were delish and Al had some tri-tip again, always hits the spot, OGP and Lisa had some kickass meatball sandwich's. Great food all weekend with a great group of peeps, to bad the season is ending. Good thing the summer fun is about to begin, see ya all out soon....Semper Fi, Woody
