Got out here finally about 330 yesterday, the weather is just perfect, but need a little wind to smooth out the dunes. Really choppy out there. Temps about mid 60 right now and sunny. Nights are chilly lower 40's upper 30's. The entrance road is about a C- right now. Kinda like a busy weekend, can't even tell it's a holiday out here. Vendor row is packed, but no Hog Heaven..... Overall were having a great time so far as usual....SF Woody

Yeah, get off on Barstow Rd and head out toward Lucerne, about 5 minutes down the road on the right...SF Woody

Yiah, Yiah....THE SEARCH FOR DUNE SNOW...... Had a thought last night with all the snow falling everywhere, maybe the D got some. Decided to get up this morning and head out to check. Along the way we had our hopes up and down. Snow all around the mountains surrounding Dumont...just maybe. But no luck, if it would have fallen a little harder there it would have been. You can see in the pics the snow level is there, just not hard enough to stick. I'm sure they seen flurries out there though. The sand was pretty smooth, just a few tracks from those lucky to be out there, maybe 5 rigs in the whole place. It was WET and about 45 degrees the road in was still in pretty good condition. Along the way we decided if not there then maybe we would shoot over to Kelso, haven't stopped by there in years. Lucky for us we found some snow in the dunes. So 2 dunes in 1 day, didn't take quads but it was a blast none the yet. I'll post pics of D in this post and reply with pics from Kelso...SF Woody

Yeah, I dont think it will make it till the weekend..... Can see it snowing throughout tomorrow, might have a few inches, already have about 11/2 on the ground. Maybe up in the calico mountain tops....
