well summer is almost over and i never got around to my 70 projects and i need the space back. 1985 Honda atc 70 4 speed the 70 is complete and it runs and drives. tank is clean with 2 dents from the bars the tires are good the plastics are in fair condition. it does smoke and will need a piston soon but it is a perfect candidate for a 88 kit. . it wouldnt take much TLC to make this a nice 70 or a start to a total build.

as i read it california honors oregon and vice vers. it is a loop hole because nevada doesnt issue one. so as long as it is permitted in one state (oregon, utah, california) it should be honored. they had no problem selling and mailing the permits to a nevada address. FROM THE OREGON WEBSITE................... Reciprocity for Out-of-State Permits An ATV operating permit that is issued in another state shall be honored in the State of Oregon if the issuing state also honors an Oregon ATV operating permit. (1) The ATV must have a resident state ATV operating permit or a State of Oregon ATV operating permit to operate the ATV on designated ATV areas. (a) A State of Oregon ATV operating permit may be issued for all terrain vehicles owned by a resident of another state. (B) An ATV operating permit is valid in those areas designated for ATV use. Stat. Auth.: ORS 390.180 Stats. Implemented: ORS 390.180 Hist.: PRD 8-2000, f. & cert. ef. 6-2-00 Oregon will honor off road permits from the following states: Alaska California Idaho Illinois Indiana Missouri Montana North Dakota Pennsylvania South Carolina Utah Vermont Washington * Wisconsin

i was just on the phone ordering my oregon atv permits for the 450r and atc70 ($10 each good for 2 years just need to call and have vin# and credit card) seems to be the best option for nevada people. the lady was telling me oregon is fazing in a mandatory safety class/card starting with everyone 31 years old and younger this year, 41 and younger next and everyone by 2014. she said it is a 2 hour online class that is good for a life. here is a link to the oregon government page with all the info........ oregon atv safety class info

well instead of working on my other 70 i have been spending way too much time rebuilding a old yerf dog wagon. should have bought a new wagon and customized it would have been cheaper...lol new tires, wider axels, new paint and a oak floor. also made a hitch using a air hose connector for movement and quick connection plus it lets me pop the handel back on. i have a few more finishing touchs to do but i need to start on the next 70 soon (i have 3 frames 2 motors set and a half plastics six tires need to get going)......... :atc:

Xbox360 i think we all feel your pain there just comes a time each summer when the heat wins. i have all kinds of projects out in the garage. but it faces west and starts baking by 1pm. so most of the time i can only stand it for a few morning hours.

well sense im going to be the first person home i thought i would start a write up. met up with Rob (80grit) bruce (turbo bruce) bill (dune family) out at bathroom 7 about 5am this morning. bill made short work of painting with his airless gas powered sprayer. while the rest of us scrubbed the windows and signs and toilet! we covered all the graffiti taking 5 colors of paint with the concrete and vent pipe. cant believe how much of a a-hole the person that did this was. after bill did his professional finial touch up we started to head back out. from the main road in the early morning sun bruce saw that bathroom 5 had been tagged also. so we headed down and made quick work of cleaning it up. thankfully it was only on the outside and not nearly as bad as bathroom 7 was. from there we headed to baker for some IHOP breakfast (thanks rob). the dirt road into dumont was as bad as i have ever seen it! would like to thank Bruce for his foot work dealing with Blm, Rob (driving 4hours each way) providing supplies and, Bill for being a professional painter and knocking it out 5 times faster then without the sprayer. dont think they even needed me but i jumped in and did what was needed. just another time the DDR community takes care of our mother D i took a few pics but rob had the big gun camera out documenting the clean up.....
