yea if you get all the parts and can get it up here to vegas charlie did a get job on mine. and had it rebuilt over night ( that was splitting the cases to put all new gaskets) stripped down the motor doesnt weigh that much could ship it.

my kit is the same as coles the trailbike 88 race kit. and it lead the first lap of the 88 race until a rollover. second over all.

is that road off limits or could can civilians ride on it

great time found out my 70 is fast (as long as im not riding it) looked like a good time was had by all. i enjoyed helping out but pete really did all the work.

im headed out from vegas to dumont thru tecopa tomorrow afternoon. what have you heard????

its done! still need to work on the thumb throttle the stock one is jacked up. but it runs and rips down the street . seat of the pants 48mph :?:

i picked this up a couple months ago and did a little maintenance work to it. never got it running real well but it did run and shift well enough play with some. so after waiting for some money to come in from a job. i finally got started on freshen up rebuild last monday. i already had most of the body and running gear that i needed ordered. i decided to have the motor tore down and rebuilt with new gaskets and the 88 build up. same kit and builder as coles lambo 70. dropped the motor off tuesday and had to order the piston rush delivery dropped it and a seal off yesterday and picked up my sweet HONDA 88 race motor this afternoon. got to love that turn around time! started putting it all back together tonight and should have it running tomorrow (still have a part order coming). here are some pics.

i have done the acid wash to my tank and it did a good job. the tank had light rust nothing heavy. after a couple trips i noticed the inline filters were turning rusty. and the tank had light surface rust through out. i had been running 91 pump gas through it but with the new motor i will stick to rebel 100. so my question is has anybody used KREEM i have heard good and bad things. couple people have said it will break down after 2 years and is impossible to remove. my atc 70 is a rare factory blue so i would like to keep it nice.

my dad lives in yuma and cross's the boarder to fill prescriptions. to my understanding if you have a prescription you can bring most RX across. there are some restrictions. if you are planning on being on the up and up stop and ask as you cross into mexico.

if there cant be signs then.......... lets post the camp area rules on the bathroom walls inside and out!

how do you expect me to break the laws when i dont know what they are?........... seriously its all about signage there needs to be a lot more signs telling people whats up! like out of bounds! speed! and trash! and the fines for breaking the rules! with all that and some light ticketing by leos the problem would be a lot less... as we know word of mouth goes very far now days.

the bigger question is why would you run a sand rail for over a year WITHOUT A CLUTCH????

very cool! if you have read around the site there are a lot of us working on 70's. i have a stock blue 83 and a pile of parts that used to be a 85 i think (still need to find out how to read the vin)! be looking to meet you. should be a fun day playing with the 70s!
