RAGDOLL MX Posted January 17, 2010 Author Share Posted January 17, 2010 (edited) well this morning the "Sadistic bike" was just a frame... about 6 hours later its almost done! this is how it started. applied some wringke paint, (the same as on the motors of the harleys) white on the accent parts tried to see how many hands we could get in one spot! kens colors adding some color! thanks ken!!! adding 300 pounds of sweaty bacon to the lambo for a break! (sorry jason) adding the extra parts here and there! dave went to go pick up his plastics, and we have to put on the cables on, and on monday we should be able to pic up his seat, carbon fiber black with white piping! desertskyz Posted January 17, 2010 Share Posted January 17, 2010 WOW really?...ok so you want to make this public... 1st off, you can ask anyone on here that iam the kind of person that would help out anyone at any time, i have even given MY PERSONAL parts to people to use. REALLY? Can I borrow some of your personal parts. How do you guys do it? Take them completely apart, sort out all of the parts, make a list of things you need, then order parts? I have had so much trouble get everything in one place, I think I have paid more in shipping then for parts. We were rebuild the recoil starter and l all needed was the plastic wheel the rope goes on. I got it in the mail and my dog Storm promptly knocks the box over that the spring part was in and Boinggggg! away it went. It broke while fixing it (it was in bad shape) so had to order another one of those. You guys make it look so simple.. I'm sure it is if you know what your doing, but I can see it is going to cost me about 1k to completely rebuild and get plastics and rims and 2 more tires, and a tank, and, and.... If I decide to keep it and go forward, I'm going to back it fun bike and add some silly things like a bell, basket and the a pair of the frilly things that hand off the grips. RAGDOLL MX Posted January 18, 2010 Author Share Posted January 18, 2010 (edited) nope iam not selling any of mine, if anything ill probably pick up some more... id be willing to build one for some one, but to get them to where i have them, iam almost 2K into them ea.. custom paint, body work, all new nuts and bolts, 88kit, tires, wheels, all new cables, bars, powdercoat, brakes, and that does not include any of my time. so if your serious then hit me up.
