We found a studio here in Goleta, we're about 15 mins from State Street where all the tourist area and cool restaraunts and bars are. Isla Vista is the crazy party college town down the road from us where UC Santa Barbara is. We have a 2 minute walk to the end of the street, about a 10 min walk through the trees and fields that end at the cliffs and beach. Here's some pics to give you the idea. The rest of this season doesnt look good, work is super slow, we havn't had but one paying job a week. Just trying to stay busy with projects cleaning the shop. Just trying to stay busy with projects cleaning the shop. hey Sean...that beach you guys were at is the big surf spot for all the UCSB surfers...youll see them riding their bikes with their boards to that beach that beach is also the place where ugly kid joe, whom hailed from Goleta/IV filmed "i hate everything about you" my buddy went to UCSB while UKJ was a bar band there.. I grew up in Santa Barbara and goleta , now I live about 50 mile north in the ghetto near VAFB . and for anyone who.s never been to Isla Vista you need to go ! especially if your young and single , its effen crazy! It's Ellwood beach and I work for Delta Welding. You get the hurricane up there in Lompoc yet? It was crazy down here the past 2 mornings. stock 350 Posted January 20, 2010 Share Posted January 20, 2010 Nah not quite as bad as u guys , hey there is a place over the pass called Redrock on paradise road , come spring and summer time take a drive up there , lots of nice camping , swimming in the river and there is even a offroad trail 4 quads and motorcycles at upper oso campground that takes u in to the back country ! If there is anything I can help you with about this area shoot me a PM as I have lived here all my life ! Have you been up to Pismo yet ? its no Dumont but it can be fun ........
