Who's going MLK weekend?

Looks like we'll be heading out for MLK weekend! Anyone else going out? 

 

Weather forecast looks good. Partly cloudy, highs around 60 and lows near 40.

A little "breezy" today in Vegas. I wonder if any of that W blew out at D today. The sand should be in great shape!

 

And look at Sunday. High of 67! nice

Driving past Baker yesterday it was blowing like crazy. 
Should make for some great dunes 👍

Drove through on my way home at  2 am wind was light and 51 degrees

 I see the North Pole has been burned down

Unreal that people would do that. Is the mailbox still there? The north pole is more than just a spot to meet and hang out. My kid, who is now 8, has been putting her letters to santa in that box since she was a baby. It's a tradition to ride to the north pole on Thanksgiving to do that. Wish we were out there to help re build it this weekend.

The actual North Pole & mailbox are fine. Someone did burn that piece of trash down though. lol I put my 2 cents in on it here...
