dunefreak Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 So most of you may already know this as it is a no-brainer, but some might not be aware. If you run the factory headlights on your quad and dune your bike (rather than being a camp cruiser like some ), chances are your headlights will get dull as hell over time. It's pretty easy to do and only takes about 10-15 minutes to get them looking way better. You can polish the lenses using plastic lense polish. I used Maguiare's PastX Clear Plastic Cleaner & Polish. (about 7 bucks). What a difference! Quote
dinicolada Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 Cool thanks Pete that looks likeitmade a big differance I'll have to try it some time Quote

mineurbiz Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 Has anyone tried or found another polish to use on the body plastics? I would like to try and lightly sand out some scratches and see if I can polish it back up. Quote
Don29palms Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 That's good to know that stuff works. I need to do the lenses on my car and my truck. Quote

metalalien Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 Another trick that works great... a propane torch. I use that to clear mine up. It's more of an art than a science... Quote
cycoguy Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 also if you just have some buffing compound laying around, grab a cotton rag and hand buff in and whipe off, i used to work at a used car lot as a detailer and thats what we did to the head lights on the cars and they turned out great! Quote
Warrior07 Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 i found the best headlight protector ( stay in front ) Quote
