duniemonkie Posted August 28, 2007 Posted August 28, 2007 Jodi that is not the same camera you had in Havasu is it? I couldn't fall back asleep either, but I had to be up just after 5 anyway... It was a fun eclipse to watch; worth standing in front of my neighbors house w/ binoculars at 3am Thanks for posting these! Quote
Randog Posted August 28, 2007 Posted August 28, 2007 Awesome Jodi, I was thinkin' about stayin' up for that, but my plan fell through. You sure are good with that camera. Great shots. Thanks Quote
sand chick Posted August 28, 2007 Author Posted August 28, 2007 Yep same camera as in Havasu! Took all the pics into work with me, they took them all, they might use some in our little paper here, I hope so, it'll be my first publication :praying: They also told me to start keeping my camera with me at all times!! I know its a small town paper, but you have to start somewhere  Thank you guys for all the compliments Quote
sand chick Posted August 29, 2007 Author Posted August 29, 2007 (edited) I DID IT!!!!!!!!! FRONT PAGE BABY!! I don't even know what to say........................ :fro: HAPPY TEARS!! Oh wow I am now a PUBLISHED Photographer!! They didn't even use their regular photographer's pictures! :porn: :porn: Sorry I am excited!! I took the away the fear and did it and reached one of my goals! Thank you guys for all the compliments, I don't think I would have had the confidence to walk in and turn over my card without you guys saying they were good!! Bob, Michael and my friend Brandy are always pushing me to enter a contest or do something with my pics, but I know that they love me anyway, so its easier to take their words with a grain of salt. But they planted the idea that I could do it! Thank You!! Jodi Edited August 29, 2007 by buggychick Quote
