well... this is what i get from looking at that picture..

Swingarm bent SIDEWAYS = Side impact

Yellow Caution tape around perimiter = police investigation

leaving the quad on a trail and not removing it asap = something bad happend.

I dont think the swingarm just up and broke.. i think there is alot more to the story..
