ash
I know this has been :shocked2: but give me a break. We are getting :dunce: by leaders of this country. Lets face it, they CAN do something about it but WON'T. We as a country, stockpiled a whole a$$load of oil just for crisis situations. Well, I think this constitutes a crisis. Our leaders need to step up and make this right. Yeah yeah I know we pay less per gallon than any other country, but you know what, I really don't give a flying fk what other countries are paying. I know there are the 'gas outs', well those are bullsh@t and we know it. President Bush needs to have a conversation with the OPECers and make them an offer they can't refuse. We will pay $30.00 a barrel PERIOD! Don't like it? Get f*cked...we'll get it somewhere else...someone will accept our offer. sh*t I don't know what else to say, I'm just pissed off and sick and tired of getting screwed by the big oil companies

What are you thinking that you should get a break cause you want one? You been hanging around a certain casino mogul to much! Your thought process is not quite in line with what is going on in the world, if you look at the areas of China and india you will see that their ecomomies are exploding and more people can afford cars and that means more fuel. The old adage of supply and demand is at work and will continue. It is not the president's fault it is the global ecomomy and the lack of Americans and American companies shipping our jobs overseas and us buying toxic crap from other countries IE Chinese toys, copys etc. If the President released the oil reserves and then the crap really hit the fan what would we do then walk? The actual amount of oil held in reserve would lower the actual at the pump price less than 25cents per gallon. Do we really want that risk in this unstable world, I think not but I am getting more conservitive in my old age C'mon Ash, be glad you can afford to pay to fill that monster up. there are people who have to buy it in small amounts till a heck clears or the tips roll in. We are fortunate to be so lucky to have what we have and we should be happy campers, not saying I like getting screwed over but it is what it is in this case. Also remember that your company is heavily involved in these emarging markets and that gives you job security to fill that monster up, see what goes around sort of thingy By the way can i borrow a cpl bucks I need to fill the motorhome up
RacerX
Well said Terry. Don't forget to blame the greenies that don't allow us to build refineries, or drill for our own oil. :shocked2:

Warrior07
my ? is how does diesel hit 3.30 a gallon and 87 stays at 2.80 :shocked2: . big brother knows diesels get better milage ,so hit them first
wingnut
This can be blamed on this group, that group or whoever the EFF you want. I think what pisses me off is why diesel is so much more than any other fuel. Since mid September diesel has gone up .60cents. Are u effin kidding me. It's sh*t fuel that still takes the least refinment. Don't tell me that because of the new emmision requirements, diesel is more expensive...BS. I love the people that say, if you can afford the big truck, you can afford the fuel....EFFF THAT. The fuel I purchase in a month is more expensive than my truck payment, insurance and maintenence. I'm sorry but when I have to spend an extra 2 to 300.00 dollars a month in fuel it does hurt my budget!!!!! Ok breath!!!! :no_no: :no_no:
barefoot bob
ya thats the funny part diesel fuel is highly refined kerosene. gasoline costs more to refine. further our oil prices at the pump would be way down if you removed all the taxes attached to it. espeacialy fedral taxes
Richard Cheese
fuggin oil went up another 10 dollars a barrel this morning OSAMA BIN LADEN FARTED the problem also lies in the fact that oil is now on the spot market...any little issue in the ME drives the price of oil up. here is the question....why do we still depend on the ME when both of our neighbors to the north and south are in the world's top 10 oil producing nations? And with all the illegal alien crap going on here in the US, i feel Mexico at least owes us 1 barrel of oil for every illegal from that country every month...so like 15 million barrels of oil a month to put up with the social problems brought on. BTW..the oil sands in EDmonton canada have been proven to hold the largest single amount of oil in the world.....WTF people...come on 3.54 today in Bako for Diesel
Sick Dayz
It’s called supply and demand. If you don’t like it, find another way to power your vehicle. It sounds harsh, but that is the way it is in our country, and personally, I like it that way. You whinny b*tches that call for the government to get more involved, must have a screw loose. One of the reasons we’re in the position we’re in is because the government is too involved already. If you don’t like the prices, find another way to do it. That is a benefit of supply and demand. The high prices will allow for others to propose alternatives (because there is money in it now) It isn’t going to happen over night and there will be some pain in the process for some, but eventually we will get tired of paying the high prices and demand an alternative. Or the prices will come down, because the market won’t want to loose our business. True, America is not alone in this market, so we have the pressures of other countries, and as a result, it will take more pressure from our country before changes are made. When I say pressure, I don’t mean from the government, I mean from the PEOPLE. The people are the government, something we have clearly forgotten. If you’re whining, make a change in your life or shut-up.

They are us. We have let them get out of control and we should not be putting more power in their hands. Do not look to them to control/change the market. Let the market find it’s own…
