  1. Yep!! I started mine early in October! NO more smoking B) Already lost 55 lbs and only 10 more to go!! Now I am up to running 3 miles a day and hiking 3 miles on the weekend (when we aren't riding) not laying around taking naps all weekend!!
  2. We have to witness a wedding in Vegas on the morning of June 23rd and were planning on stopping by Dumont on our way back with some friends for a night ride. There should be four of us in our group. Hope to see you out there!!!
  3. Me and some friends are going to do a night ride on the 23rd of June, if you go maybe I'll see you out there!
  4. Wow, I am glad to hear your friends are going to be ok!! I can't believe the guy with the broken ribs rode back to camp, he's one brave man!! Keep us posted on their recovery!!
  5. I suppose although he did put it up in April. And when I asked he said he did it every year to keep the birds away, especially pigeons and doves. One never knows with people.
  6. If you are going to do more dirt riding then my mini buggy does awesome. We did have the 650cc motor, when we bought mine that was the biggest motor they had, pd 7,000.00. Now they have bigger motor packages. We had to upgrade from the 650cc, instead of spending the 3,000.00 for a turbo, we picked up a geo metro for 50.00 and that motor works great. It would probably do better in the sand (Bob can dune it), but I am still learning how to drive it in the sand. But I love it and can't complain about anything!! This site has a large variety of what you might be looking for including the better Joyners: http://www.buggyworld.net/vehicles.html Here's another site also: http://extremecartsunlimited.com/photos/in...%20Joyner%20USA
  7. A friend of ours put up silver Christmas tinsel/garland around thier roof and the places where the pigeons were landing and that worked for them. You get people looking at your house like for a while. The alka-seltzer thing works well too.
  8. Stacey, In case I don't get a chance before I leave: HAVE A GREAT ONE!!! :redhat:
  9. Johnson Valley!! Wish I was going to Ken's party you guys all have fun! And for all the other moms out there in case I forget before we leave!

  12. Went to court yesturday 2 YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Posession of stolen property and grand theft! THATS WHAT HAPPENS TO THEIVES!!!!!!!!
  13. Same here. Although I didn't wait to have mine . As I said before I would not give him up for anything. I never understood those people who stood in the welfare line using "Single Mom" as an excuse :angry22: I was just under 20 when I had my son. Stayed with his dad for bout 3 months after he was born, til he busted my nose with a phone receiver. SEE YA!!! My mom didn't raise a complete fool. I worked three jobs so that I could put food on my son's table. Some days I went without eating. I had friends that milked the welfare system and called the first of every months "Mothers Day" :freakin_nuts: and went out and bought themselves new clothes, their rent was pd for by the state. I must admit back then I sometimes got a little jealous that they got to spend so much time with thier children, while I missed out. Sometimes I wonder if I did the right thing by keeping my own head above water and miss out on so much of his childhood. Then I look those girls today and they are still in the system and have miserable lives and they are now the jealous ones of what I have worked so hard for. I also look at my well grounded son and KNOW I did it right. And I must thank Sandbob for helping me to reach my goals, because he took on SOMEONE else's child when he didn't have to! Now my son's father is seeing how life was like for me for 15 years. When he calls to complain I remind him of that and then send a check in my son's name! But it's a good thing we can talk NOW.
  14. I haven't been to the JoeCartoon site in years! Man I loved that gerbil in the blender!

  19. Hang in there! Its a very tough time. Embrace your family and close friends in times like these, they are your best support system. I lost my best friend when I was 27 and I made it through with the support of my family and some other friends who knew him. I know right now it probably seems like nothing is making you feel better, but with time it does start to feel better. I don't let a day go by that I don't take a minute and go over a few memories and say a few words to my friend. I know that he's there watching and listening. Same with your Grandma. Take a moment each day, even if its just to say hi. Take all the hugs that everyone has to offer.
